Paso Robles, CA -(Ammoland.com)- As a partner with one of the 10 largest rodeos in the world, the Pendleton Round-Up, Weatherby, Inc. donated a custom Vanguard Deluxe rifle to be awarded to the All-Around Champion for the third consecutive year.
Trevor Brazile, 19-time World Champion and 11-time All-Around World Champion Cowboy, won his third straight All-Around title at the Pendleton Round-Up and received the rifle along with other awards. Weatherby’s championship rifle features the Pendleton Round-Up logo engraved on the floorplate and gold-filled engraving of “All-Around Champion” on the barrel.
The gun sports a Leupold VX-3 4.5-14x40mm riflescope donated by Leupold & Stevens, Inc.
“Trevor was just as excited to receive the gun this year as he has the previous two years,” said Carl Culham, sponsor director for the Pendleton Round-Up. “He guaranteed that he would make sure it was sighted in and ready for use. The rifle he won last year bagged a fallow deer for him.”
The Round-Up is held each September in Pendleton, Oregon. For more information, visit www.pendletonroundup.com.
Brazile will also compete at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas December 4-13, 2014, along with four-time World Champion Steer Wrestler and Team Weatherby member, Luke Branquinho. For more information, visit www.nfrexperience.com.
