We have outfitted them with new hardware. Also new is a line of “working” rifles, tailored for law enforcement and security personnel, branded BLACK by Cobalt Kinetics. The professional shooting team being unleashed includes such heavyweights as Keith Garcia, Kalani Laker, Nick Atkinson, and Rick Birdsall.

EVOLVE is a departure from the basic AR-15. Cobalts ingenious, breakthrough rifle incorporates a suite of new technologies: C.A.R.S. (Cobalt Advantage Reload System) dramatically speeds up reloads by eliminating two manual operations. C.A.R.S automatically drops the magazine when emptied, and as the operator inserts a fresh magazine, C.A.R.S sends the bolt into battery—automatically loading the rifle.
EVOLVE presents an optimized buffer system. It is efficient, smooth, and adjustable. The design permits control over the buffer mass with a simple tool, adjustments are easily made by separating the upper and lower receivers. Cobalt Kinetics created EVOLVE to deliver maximum performance. Cobalt has engineered a new muzzle brake. Completing the rifle’s balanced operating system. This new brake exploits Cobalt’s patent pending technology and delivers maximum performance-it makes a shooter better at his/her game.
The EVOLVE suite incorporates a fully adjustable butt stock and competition handguard-both hewn from solid billet 7075 alloy. BLACK by Cobalt Kinetics is a revision of the basic black rifle. It is the old standby with the Cobalt Kinetics spin. BLACK is designed for and is ideally suited for the armed professional. BLACK includes a number of control enhancements some of which are the Cobalt Dual Drop system.
BLACK by Cobalt Kinetics will also feature a tactical version featuring C.A.R.S.
