California: Gunpocalypse Moves Forward Without a Vote

Sacramento, CA -(AmmoLand.com)- Earlier this week, we stopped the Senate from sending some of the Gunpocalypse bills forward without a vote.

But now, the Assembly just did the same exact thing.

They just voted to allow their version of Gunpocalypse to skip the Appropriations Committee, which is supposed to judge the bills based on their fiscal impact to the State of California.

These bills had an estimated cost of over $4 million!

Apparently they are not concerned with the cost of innocent gun owners who are going to be thrown in jail.

They are not concerned with the cost of enforcing a whole slew of unenforceable laws.

And they are not concerned with any of their own Legislative rules while they make rules for YOU to live by.

TELL GOV. BROWN TO VETO THESE BILLS

The bills that skipped the process:

  • SB 880 (Hall): Bans common and constitutionally protected firearms that have magazine locking devices
  • SB 894 (Jackson): Re-victimizes victims by criminalizing the failure to report lost and stolen firearms
  • SB 1235 (de Leon): Now mirrors Gavin Newsom’s Safety for All Act/Ammo Ban
  • SB 1446 (Hancock): Confiscation of lawfully acquired, standard capacity ammunition feeding devices

STOP THE FAST-TRACKED GUNPOCALYPSE BILLS

Now that these bills have bypassed the Appropriations Committee without even a single vote, they will be eligible to be voted on this coming Monday.

We need YOU to get active NOW and let the Governor know that he needs to VETO all 4 of these bills when they make it to his desk.

Not only are these gun bills horrendous, but they have totally skirted the legislative process.

Stop them today!

For Liberty,

Richard Thomson

There’s a method to California’s political madness. They’re ‘Mexicanizing’ California to make all the ‘immigrants’, legal or illegal, feel like they’re home in Mexico. By doing this California is just surrendering to the Mexican war of attrition. You didn’t expect California to resist being overrun by foreign invaders, did you? And Californians didn’t expect help from that mob in Washington, DC. Not making excuses here, just pointing out the reality of the situation. LOL

Wayne, The millions of Californians who belong to the NRA, California Rifle and Pistol Association, and Gun Owners of California who daily contact their legislators disagree with you.The liberal progressive democrats controlling the City of Los Angeles and San Francisco far out number the citizens who support our 2nd amendment. Your negative comments serve no purpose as we need everyone’s positive support.

Wayne, you and Mike have no clue. Millions of California gun owners fight for their rights on a daily basis. We are members of NRA, California Rifle and Pistol Association, and Gun Owners of California. We are hunters and competitive shooters while constantly contacting our state legislators.

The problem is the progressive democrats running Los Angeles and the Bay Area. Their numbers totally override the balance of the State. Consider San Francisco and Los Angeles are Sanctuary Cities where felons are protected from the Feds and gun laws are introduced on a daily basis.

Thanks for you support.

Sounds like it time to move or get out and shake up the liberals in your state. Hard, yes, necessary YES. This is the problem with the entire country right now. Everybody talks and then stays home when an elections comes up. We the people let this happen, we the people will have to fix it, because the politicians will never give up their power!

TO: GOV. BROWN If you pass this bill you will end up being a hated enemy of the people because you are ignoring them by not representing them as you swore to in your “Oath of OFFICE”. If you do,you will have bypassed the justice afforded by the Constitution of The United States. which will officially make you a felon Criminal and make you subject to Recall, criminal charges and civil Law Suits. Law abiding Citizens will frankly see you as evil and a low-life so please respect the people that elected you. If they have to obey the Constitution… Read more »

Old Marine, well said now go get him.

Ring68

Well old marine, you and I both know it’s going to come down to only one way to get our country back?

Are we sure that Washington DC is not housed in California………… Seems like it since they go hand-in-hand…

I don’t feel sorry for them one bit. They won’t stand up for their own rights then why should we. Am tired of every time California passes some stupid law, no matter what it is, the rest of the country feel they have to follow suit. Can’t wait till California either drops into the sea or gets totally wrecked by an earth quake. Better yet can’t we just give California back to the Mexican Government? After all California is the biggest Mexican State in the Union.

S. FREEMAN

‘We’ do stand up for our rights, but we are outnumbered by the utterly CRAZY left-wing nut jobs. They simply DO NOT CARE about the constitution. Most of the CA libs have no clue what the 2nd Amendment is about. It is a very rare and brief moment of sanity when an appeals court will actually follow the law instead of trying to make new law. I’m talking to YOU ninth circuit. To make matters worse, each county tries to out-do the others by making their own crazy regulations. For example, in Alameda County you can go to a gun… Read more »

If you do in fact stand up for your rights, then how the hell are Liberals running California for as long as I can remember? If they out number you say 3 to 1 and you can’t get Republicans in, then I’d move. Sooner or later and I believe sooner, with all the drought you have been getting. I don’t think California will make it to 2017. You all can’t survive without water. I say now with all the fires burning out of control, water is going fast.

Sam Freeman

Really? Please- everyone knows that California has been run by the liberals forever- Barbara ‘Can’t Balance A Checkbook’ Boxer Jerry ‘Moonbeam’ Brown Nancy “We have to read the bill to find out what is in the bill’ Pelosi Diane ‘Gimme Your Guns (but I’ll keep mine)” Feinstein Or how about Rep. Barbara Lee (D-CA,) who wanted to raise the minimum wage to $26 so poor people could move to rich neighborhoods? How about adding Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA), the crazy woman who, among other things, thought that sequestration would cause the loss of “over 170 million jobs?” (There are less… Read more »

WG, “They won’t stand up for their own rights then why should we.” Do you really think what you wrote is true?

As a side note. I commend S. Freeman for taking the time to write a lucid well thought of rebuttal.

Mike McAllister

When CA goes off into the sea and vanishes under the waves it will be a good day for the American people. And the people of CA are at fault so NO I do not feel sorry for them.

TRUTH BE TOLD

Well the black market for guns just heated up another notch….

Thanks liberals… for driving that gun market sky high….
All bases on lies……
1. We have to register guns to make it safe….
Ooops that didn’t work
2. We need your guns to make it safe…..
Oooops that didnt work
Now we have the right to do anything we want

Hitler……

California continues to spiral into its whirlpool of liberal damnation. So sad to witness.
