Danger: Trump Moves GOP On Gun Control ~ VIDEO

Trump Moves Congress to Pass Massive Gun Control Package.

USA – -(Ammoland.com)- Following yet another tragic school shooting in a Gun Free Zone, President Trump is opening the floodgates on gun control, urging GOP leaders in congress to ban certain gun parts and “enhance” the so-called background check.

As Wisconsin Gun Owners has been warning, Senate Majority Whip John Cornyn is attempting to make a name for himself with a “common sense” gun control package that will give the National Instant Check System the ability to deny your right to buy a gun for completely arbitrary reasons based on phony science and so-called “mental illness.”

Yesterday, House Freedom Caucus co-founder Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) correctly stated that such legislation “would allow bureaucrats and administrators to take away an individual’s Second Amendment liberties, and something that fundamental you’ve got to have a court make that decision to give due process to American citizens.”

Jordan is correct: There is currently no due process with NICS, so it is dangerous and irresponsible to feed even more data into the machine, none of which will stop school shooters from getting guns but WILL stop you from getting guns.

Death by 1000 Cuts Gun Control
What I don’t know is whether Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson and House Speaker Paul Ryan will stand their ground.

I think it’s a mistake to punish gun owners for the criminal acts of others.

But what I don’t know is whether Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson and House Speaker Paul Ryan will stand their ground.

I doubt they will, unless you and I act fast and show them the light.

Just how bad is the situation?

Trump Declared: “I will be strongly pushing Comprehensive Background Checks with an emphasis on Mental Health. Raise age to 21 and end sale of Bump Stocks!”

And according to a Feb. 15, 2018 story (Paul Ryan on Florida Shooting) in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Ryan was confronted by reporters about making the background check system more powerful and seems to be conceding.

“He added that Congress may need to take action to make sure people with mental illnesses don’t ‘slip through the cracks’ and get guns,” reported the Sentinel.

“If there are gaps there, then we need to look at those gaps,” Ryan said.

In other words, Paul Ryan is keeping the door open for more gun control. Historically, that never ends well as far as your gun rights are concerned.

ACTION:

1. Call Sen. Ron Johnson and Rep. Paul Ryan and urge NO CONTROL – no ban on bump stocks, no to Sen. Cornyn’s misguided NICS background check “mental illness” bill, and no to cutting any deal even if said deal includes so-called national concealed carry reciprocity. Don’t fall for this trap.

2. Please consider a donation to Wisconsin Gun Owners (WGO) right now. Unless WGO has the resources to fight this backroom deal by the GOP, you can expect more incremental loss of liberty. A donation of $50, $100, $500 or more is critically needed right now. Click here to give

Please hurry.

Thank you,

P.S.- President Trump is talking out of both sides of his mouth, trying to keep gun owners appeased, while at the same time buckling under pressure to appear “reasonable” to anti-gunners by banning bump stocks and turning the already bad NICS background scheme into a nightmare program for national disarmament with no due process. Please contact Sen. Johnson and Rep. Ryan at the numbers above. And even more critical, help out Wisconsin Gun Owners with a donation today. We can’t count on the institutional gun lobby to do the right thing, it’s up to us. Please click here to give

ACTION CHECKLIST

  • ✔ Called Sen. Johnson and Rep. Paul Ryan and told them NO GUN CONTROL
  • ✔ Donated to WGO who will keep me informed

Wisconsin Gun Owners, Inc. is a 501(c)4 non-profit organization. Donations made to Wisconsin Gun Owners, Inc. are not deductible for income tax purposes.

About Wisconsin Gun Owners:

Wisconsin Gun Owners ( WGO ) works for grassroots gun owners, not politicians. While many gun lobbies fight for “reasonable gun control,” WGO sets a higher standard: Defining the terrain of pro-gun political battle. Sure, many groups claim they’re “pro-gun” – all the while they provide cover for anti-gun deals cut by politicians – but only WGO truly informs gun owners, remaining committed to a 100% pro-gun position. We oppose all gun control – regardless of the political party – and work tirelessly to restore the Second Amendment. Visit www.wisconsingunowners.org

Bump Stocks, Buying Age, ‘Assault Weapons,’ Background Checks. At the rallies Trump never failed to comment something similar to, “and how about your Second Amendment, we’re going to protect that”; or “your Second Amendment is not in jeopardy any more”, etc. What is he going to say at the next rally?

Edward Weber

As for icing on the cake, Trump ask Diane Feinstein to place her AR ban amendment into the Bill.

PASTORGLOCK

Unfortunately trump is like every other politician. Spineless. Us 2A supporters had such high hopes. But once again we are being let down at every level.

Gun control has always been the “third rail” of politics and now that Mr. Trump has just announced that he will run for re-election he may find out exactly how much voltage is in that third rail.

Check the comments above and let our voices be heard. Screw with us and pay the price. It stops now, not only no more gun laws but we demand more guns. If they can have fire extinguishers in schools to put out fires why can’t they have patrol rifles to stop child murderers?

OK Ammoland and WGO will do. Just e-mail both Johnson and Ryan. When you e-mail Ryan you need to enter one of his Wisconsin zip codes: 53101 53102 53104 53105 53108 53109 53114 53115 53119 53120 53121 53125 53126 53128 53130 53138 53139 53140 53141 53142 53147 53148 53149 53152 53157 53158 53159 53167 53168 53170 53171 53176 53177 53179 53181 53182 53184 53185 53186 53190 53191 53192 53194 53195 53400 53402 53403 53404 53405 53406 53501 53502 53505 53508 53511 53520 53521 53522 53525 53528 53534 53536 53537 53542 53545 53546 53550 53563 53566 53570 53574 53576 53585

Seems to me, the so called “gaps & “cracks” that the malcontents are falling through, is within the government itself, not the holy NICS. Do YOUR job gentlemen & remove the shackles that prevent US from doing ours. I guarantee these mass shootings would be a thing of the past. Read the writing on the wall…WE, are the sheepdogs, not you.

G-man

These are the people that caused the problem why would we have them fix it ,they know nothing

Dave

Trump has always talked out both sides of his mouth,Hell he would have went in that school with no gun, what a hero.

Blayn

yes, trump would have been the hero, bone spurs and all

Wild Bill

@Dave, Well, he might be that foolish. Maybe he has never seen a bullet wound. But at least he, more than any other politician in the last fifty years, has the best interests of the American people at heart.

Frank Lowry

You’re kidding right?! He’s the most self interested ever. You kind of destroy your credibility in your other posts when you talk about Trump like this, Wild Bill. Take the wool off your eyes. He’s FAKE!

Heed the Call-up

It would have been better for him to have not said something like that, but we also had 0bama drawing a line in the sand, then do nothing. The latter is far worse.

Rich in Mo.

How soon will it be before even wanting to purchase a firearm is considered a “mental illness”?

Wild Bill

@Rich in Mo, That is a very good point! The Soviets used to do that over any little thing.

Green Mtn. Boy

My question to Mr. president would be,should he decide to run for reelection just who does he think his potential voters maybe, perhaps his Resist voters
I’m not even surprised by the position of the Negotiating Rights Away Org. since 1934.

jay

He never really q\wanted the job anyway. it was just a vanity project that got out of hand.

Blayn

he does not need to worry about a 2nd term

VT Patriot

I am starting to see his lack of ‘strong’ support for the 2A. This could well be the turning point as well as our governors and his weak kneed capitulation. I’ve become a firm believer in “molon labe’ over the last few months, especially the last few weeks. Sandy Hoax – part 2.
