Monday May 29th in Liege, Belgium, yet another knife-wielding, AA-shouting, Islamic terrorist attacked two uniformed female police officers.
After stabbing both, he took the service pistol from one and shot both. Using the same pistol, he then shot a man sitting in a nearby car. Both police officers, and the man in the car, died as a result.
The terrorist then walked to a school in the vicinity, took a woman hostage, and was subsequently shot to death by responding police. The woman hostage was apparently unharmed. Four responding officers were injured.
No other causalities at the school (which was evacuated).
Suspect was a low-level jail-bird, career loser, and “repeat” offender (aren’t they all?), fresh out of prison on a “temporary release!” Not surprisingly, he was a “recent convert” to Islam (while in prison).
Belgium currently has the dubious status as a hotbed of Islamic “evangelism,” much of it centered in prisons. Many Islamic terrorists responsible for other recent attacks on Western interests in Belgium and France call Belgium home!
Local prosecutors say the attack is being investigated as “terrorism.”

As we see, innocent citizens, and police officers too, are the continual victims of dishonorable, discredited, invariably leftist European politicians, anxious to suck-up to Islamic voters and simultaneously be seen as oh-so “progressive” by the leftist media.
Since the media, and most politicians, obviously have scant regard for our safety, we citizens, including police officers, had better be all the more personally alert and watchful!
We must never rely on the myth of “institutional security,” which is, as I’ve pointed out many times, mostly just hollow “theater.”
Become intimately familiar with, and learn how to use personal defensive weapons. Keep them instantly accessible – at all times, and in every place.
Keep your head up!
Never deceive yourself into thinking you’re too insignificant to become a target!
All of us are but one bullet, or one knife’s edge, away from becoming abruptly DRT, with nary a hint of “advanced warning,” nor “time to prepare!”

There is a mathematical relationship about deteriorating neighborhoods and open border / mass immigration: The higher the likelihood of becoming a victim of violent crime becomes in your area, the stricter the laws will be against you being able to legally defend yourself. There is a reason law enforcement are called responders.
Also, this demonstrates several things with two major elephants in the room. The first is, you don’t let a muti convicted felon out PERIOD! The other is, screw political correctness, Muslims should not exceed their borders of Iran Iraq and Syria. I’ll even go one further and say Islam should be gassed. The problem with your perspective is that 99.99% of Muslims are not radical. Most Muslims are as ashamed and frustrated with the radicals as the rest of us. Yes, the Muslim World has not done enough to curb radicalization but many Muslim Nations have just started the process despite limited resources. Three dead, four injured, seven total, of which six were police. Four officers injured during the perp takedown. The perp got his gun by stabbing TWO lady officers and disarming them. And the guy was a repeat offender on leave from jail and was able to take one or two hostages! Unbelievable, except it’s not unbelievable, it’s real.

I wasn’t there and there is no complete video of the initial contact with police so I can’t comment specifically on that. What I can speak to is this; you never let someone armed with a knife, hammer, etc come closer than 30-40 feet. It used to be 21 feet but years ago it was discovered that the combination of reaction time, adrenaline, possibility of drugs in a person’s system and Newton’s law of motion have forced us to increase the safe distance of confrontation. Sooooo, WHO is the DUMB ASS “official” that granted a guy seen three times in these radical Islam videos freedom of ANY TYPE ? HE/SHE should be hung in public immediately… HIS/HER liberal “being behind bars 24/7 is cruel” thinking, just cost three innocent lives.
When someone is sentenced to prison for a crime they should remain there until their time is up or permanently discharged on parole, no weekend pass should be allowed I don’t care if they are a trustee or not, they were sent to prison for a reason.
