San Marcos, CA –(AmmoLand.com)- California’s newest gun range, North County Shooting Center’s official grand opening is set to occur on September 22, 2018 from 10AM to 6PM.
The press and public are invited to the Official Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening of North County Shooting Center on Saturday, September 22, 2018. The event will take place at 1440 Descanso Avenue, San Marcos, CA between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
Officiating the Ribbon Cutting will be the Mayor and Vice Mayor of San Marcos along with the officers of North County Shooting Center. There will be food vendors, music, raffles, range tours, games, and exhibitors for our guests to enjoy.
The new state-of-the-art range is a 17,000 sq. foot indoor live fire facility, with 20, 25-yard indoor shooting lanes. All live fire lanes are rated for shotgun, pistol, and rifle. We offer the consumer the most advanced ventilation, brightest lanes, and most technologically advanced target systems available. We also offer a Laser simulator, retail sales, and gunsmithing. The title was a bit deceiving. I saw “north county” and took interest because I live in a northern county of California. I was disappointed to learn that the north county they speak of is actually in the north of San Diego County which is about as far south as you can get in this state. Guess, I won’t be joining, though I do send my atta-boys!

The problem will be obtaining a firearm and ammunition and then being able to transport them to the range and home again without breaking some type of State gun/ammo laws.
Wow, In SoCal, too. Bet they had to jump through some hoops to get that opened. Great news for Californians.
