The Truth Is Browning could not keep produceing the world famous Auto-5 because of the cost therefore they came out with a new Browning A5 with cheaper material,cheaper parts and nowhere near the quality of the original design of John Browning’s Auto-5. They are correct that this new A5 is not your Grandpas shotgun. The Granddad’s that own the Browning Auto-5 original laugh at his copy of John Browning’s ie(retired the Auto-5 after 99yrs of production for the hundredth anniversary).
