U.S.A. -(AmmoLand.com)- On Thursday, the California Fish and Game Commission held a meeting and rejected Petition 2021-027, a request made by the Humane Society to eliminate the black bear hunting season under the pretext of the black bear population being vulnerable and needing further study.

Thankfully, the commission disagreed with the anti-hunting petition, stating that:

“Our best available science, from multiple lines of evidence, points to an abundant and stable black bear population. Hunting affects only a small fraction of that population and serves as a management tool to provide key population monitoring data that cannot be easily obtained otherwise.”

Thank you to NRA Members and Hunters who participated in this meeting, and encouraged the commission to continue to make decisions regarding wildlife management on sound science and not emotion.

The Humane society has to just grin and bear it. I hate those people. They’re unbearable. Thank you. I’ll be here all week. Try the veal. It delicious.

The Humane Society was em-‘bear’-assed.

C’mon, someone had to say it!

So, by removing the only bear predation, humans, what did they expect would happen? There would be a bear population explosion!

Maybe the Humane Society had a scientifically civil reason for wanting to allow an exploding bear population? How would Californians handle that? Adopt-a-Pet? Cross-Species civil marriage? Maybe it was their solution to the big cities’ homeless situation?

Incrementalism. It is only a matter of time until the left wears down or reconstituties this commission and bears will be on the threatened species list in Kalifornia. Over time the crazy has overwhelmed every public agency and every law and regulation in Kalifornia. It is only a matter of time. The crazy will prevail.

Saving the earth by not only limiting but reducing the human population. Teach and indoctrinate true believers that murdering your own babies is a “right” and a “freedom” that only horribly bad people could possibly want to have any life respecting limitations on, allow natural predatory mountain lion and bear populations to grow beyond sustainable limits so icky polluting humans once again become part of the natural food chain with predators helping to keep OUR numbers down, and of course, purposely allow murderous violent human predators to run free while disarming the law abiding civilian population in order to achieve… Read more »
