Chief Neadeau and the Tribal Council are effectively saying what’s in the police’s interest is in the public’s interest and they’re codifying that into law.

That leaves open the question of how police got the address wrong in the first place. What checklist procedures are in place to preclude an armed response and the assumptions that go with one until a positive identification has been established?

What the prohibitionists are missing, deliberately, is that we have a right to own machineguns without any special permissions…

That makes it fair to ask why Kevin McCarthy, the beneficiary of an A+ rating and endorsement from the National Rifle Association’s Political Victory Fund, is reportedly going out of his way to raise major bucks for someone who is undermining everything about the Second Amendment we’re told he believes in.

That Dorsey … should be reported as an enabler of criminal transactions while discriminating against lawful commerce in firearms is just another contradiction between what anti-gunners say they want and what they actually achieve.

The government knew the people had a right to machine guns. The issue here is one of taxing a right as a prior restraint on exercising it.

Legislatures will then be able to pass whatever anti-gun edicts they want while confirming judges, especially to the Supreme Court, who will uphold those edicts and reverse gains (like Bruen) made to date.

By drawing its data from biased human sources, “artificial intelligence” can be used to help crush freedom.

There’s something that seems uniquely un-American about setting up a “snitch line” with monetary rewards.

“After dozens of interviews and seven public hearings, the Civilian Oversight Commission’s special counsel has released a 70-page report condemning the ‘cancer’ of violent deputy gangs and urging Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna to create a policy officially banning the secretive groups,” The Los Angeles Times reported.

But Breen sounds “reasonable” to those who can’t see through what she and her Moms Demand backers really want, which is pretty much everything.

LAs’ Mayor, Karen Bass, is still a race card-playing collectivist at heart, & she’s still a proponent of another of Castro’s favorites, citizen disarmament.

There’s no reason to trust any politician who thinks the voters shouldn’t be informed of what a nominee’s understandings and principles are.

The term “firearm” shows up 132 times in the report. The “recommendations” are things that have been tried over and over again for years in civilian life – and never worked.

It’s fair to wonder if Discover’s risk management department has considered what the company’s liability would be should one of their “Suspicious Activity Reports” be the catalyst for a similar series of unfortunate events.

To paraphrase Democrat strategist James Carville’s slogan about the economy, it’s the criminals, stupid.

In one fell swoop, The Times has reversed its position not just on “background checks,” but if you think about it, on “red flag laws,” too.

“But it showed a glaring problem in the law in Virginia:  All gun sales, even private ones, were stopped dead in their tracks until that system came back up.”

Remove violent criminals from society. And leave our guns and our children alone, just like the Founders intended.

So why should California Republicans (and those from other states where they think they can get away with it) do anything more than give lip service to gun owners, assuming they even need to do that?

If proven, it seems a curious relationship for a bank that presumes to be the “woke” moral arbiter for its customers’ right to keep and bear arms.
