CT Gun Rights Rally 2014

Connecticut Citizens Defense League

Groton, CT -(Ammoland.com)- A Gun Rights Rally will once again be held on the North Side Capitol Grounds. We will need every person there to make sure that our voices will be heard.

Saturday, April 5, 2014
12:00pm to 3:00pm

Guest Speaker will be David Codrea.

Critical information regarding firearms Lawful carry at the Capitol
While the carrying of firearms is permitted on the Capitol grounds, firearms that are now defined as assault weapons under Public Act 13-3 are now prohibited.

To avoid confusion and unnecessary hassles, we highly recommend carrying handguns (if you are properly permitted) in lieu of long arms. The Capitol police have been extremely friendly at our past rallies and have never hassled us for any reason. Lets try to keep it that way.

About the Connecticut Citizens Defense League:
The Connecticut Citizens Defense League is a non-partisan, grassroots organization devoted to advocating rights affirmed by the Constitutions of the United States of America and the State of Connecticut. We are especially dedicated to protecting the unalienable right of all citizens to keep and bear arms, for the defense of both self and state, through public enlightenment and legislative action.
We welcome anyone who believes that the defense of our constitutional rights is critical to the longevity of our freedom and to the success of this nation, and in particular that the rights to self defense and to keep and bear the arms to actualize that defense, are fundamental and undeniable.

    1. Stay strong, stay brave! My gun club is under attack by the increasing libs spreading through our little town like a cancer.
You are Flashpoint East and we may well become Flashpoint Southwest. This present regime in DC is Marxist to the core and determined to disarm Americans. Will be praying for your safety. Durango, Colorado

This is what happens when you give civilian police and ignorant politicians the power to determine what you can or cannot have. You are not a police state, tell the cops to shove it, and while your are at it ask who gives idiots the authority to determine what an assault rifle is? These fools cannot distinguish the difference between a broom handle and a tattoo. Simply put, there are no assault rifle in the hands of the populace. the AR-15 is not an assault rifle by any definition. Time for you to throw your Democrat dictators out.

    4. Better yet–march to the governor’s residence or one of the homes of a senator or rep!

    5. Since the politicians names and addresses have been published in multiple places, groups of 4 or 5 gun owners should get together in each district, go to their politicians home (unarmed) and knock on the door. Just a friendly visit to say “Hi” and we know where you live. Put the fear that God gave us into them and see some results.

Of course a lot of them are demanding “protection”. If I was the CLEO in their AO, I’d tell them no, you made your bed, you lie in it. Why should a copper (that might agree with the gun owners) be put in harms way because politicians don’t have the sense to pour piss out of a boot?

Stand firm in the knowledge that what you are doing is just. Let justice roll like a mighty thunder and let those who suppose that they represent the people learn that the people are disgusted with their disdain for them. Send a clear message that they do not represent the people and that the people will be heard and better be listened to. Our prayers go out to all of you who participate, may God protect you in your quest for justice, hopefully we’ll see you there.

Y’all come! Admission is free (although donations are gratefully accepted and will be put toward our litigation fund). And you may wear your CT-compliant legal firearm (pistols and revolvers recommended). Thanks everybody!
