Melville, NY – -(AmmoLand.com)- Slug gun users now have another choice for their favorite shotgun. An all-new 1.65-5×36 SlugHunter joins the original 3-9×40 SlugHunter in providing hunters with two great options.

The new SlugHunter 1.65-5×36 features an increased exit pupil for better low-light performance in a more compact version. Available with the proven BDC 200 reticle specifically calibrated for ballistic tipped Sabot slugs, and a lower profile objective for low mounting, this slug gun scope is as accurate as any riflescope Nikon has ever produced.

“For some hunting situations, a fast, instinctive target acquisition in lowlight means the difference between success and failure,” said Jon LacCorte, Senior Product Marketing Manager. “By using some attributes of dangerous game scopes we created a fast handling, super accurate scope for slug gun shooters.”

Five full inches of eye relief and Nikon’s legendary durability mean you can comfortably, safely and securely mount this scope on even the hardest kicking slug guns. With a super bright exit pupil of 7.2 and Nikon’s multicoated lenses means shooters can hunt right up to the end of legal shooting time. A 45-ft of view @ 1.65x allows the shooter to find the target quickly and reliably while the durable one-inch tube and 1/4 MOA adjustment mean simple and easy sight in sessions.

The new SlugHunter is available in a matte finish with the BDC-200 or Nikoplex reticle and features a 75-yd parallax setting. The MSRP is $229.95 for the NikoPlex and $239.95 for the BDC-200.
