Take The Fight To Them

Colorado ––(Ammoland.com)- Most elected officials spent their July 4th walking in parades and waving to crowds.

Shaking hands, smiling and posing for pictures. You know the drill.

But for nearly twenty U.S. Senators, their time away from Washington, D.C. last week wasn’t a walk in the park.

In fact, much of their time was spent sweating bullets.

Constantly checking with their staff. Frequently looking at their email. Taking urgent calls.

Why? Because they were waiting for the next shoe to drop.

Thanks to your generous financial support over the last few months, your National Association for Gun Rights launched a withering grassroots attack on nearly twenty Senators in states all across the country last week.

These Senators either voted for Barack Obama’s failed gun control bill in April or rode the fence all the way until the end, refusing to support Rand Paul’s filibuster.

Hard-hitting TV ads, direct mail, mass email, web ads and social media campaigns.

NAGR isn’t waiting for the gun-grabbers to come up with their newest scheme to expand federal control over your gun rights.

We’re taking the fight to them — in their home states.

One NAGR TV ad running statewide in Pennsylvania targets Republican turncoat Senator Pat Toomey, who carried Barack Obama’s gun control bill in April.

As you will see when you click on the TV ad above , Toomey is now following in the footsteps of former Republican Senator Arlen Specter (who Toomey forced out in 2010).

If Toomey keeps up his anti-gun crusade, he too could face the same political fate that Specter once faced — a pro-gun primary challenger when he’s up for reelection.

And now that the U.S. Senate is back in session in Washington, DC this week, your gun rights are once again on the chopping block.

Joe Biden claims to have 5 U.S. Senators who voted against gun control in April now interested in switching their vote.

Capitol Hill insiders continue to report that Barack Obama, Joe Biden and Harry Reid are looking to pass a gun control bill — any bill — before Congress heads for recess during August.

So now is not the time to back down in the face of this oncoming assault from the gun control lobby.

My staff here at NAGR has drawn up plans to keep up the grassroots pressure using TV ads, direct mail pieces, mass emails, wed ads and social media campaigns throughout the month of July.

If you and I are need to stop Barack Obama and his anti-gun cohorts in the Senate from ramming through gun control this month.

We’re not waiting around — we’re taking the fight to the gun-grabbers.

Please continue to stand should-to-shoulder with us TODAY!
