McLean, VA – -(Ammoland.com)- FN America, LLC is proud to announce that FN Pro Team captain Dave Sevigny has lead the company’s shooting team to yet another victory, earning the title of Production Champion at the 2016 Area 6 Championship, where the company was the title sponsor. The match was held on April 21 – 24, 2016 at the South River Gun Club in Covington, GA.
Sevigny put forth an impressive performance at the match, competing against 162 competitors in Production Division over 12 stages and nearly 300 rounds fired down range. Competing with his FNS™-9 Longslide pistol, Sevigny was able to breeze through each stage and set an 86-point difference between himself and the second-place finisher. The Champion title marks Sevigny’s fifth major championship win with the FNS and the FN Pro Team this year.
The match itself brought in just over 500 competitors, a record-setting number for the organization’s Area matches, and featured many Master and Grand Master-level competitors. As title sponsor, FN was able to invite a local dealer partner, Georgia Firing Line, to display and sell FN products on-site. On display were the most popular products in the company’s product line including the FN SCAR, P90, FN 15 DMR and several of the company’s polymer pistols.
