Arizona – -(Ammoland.com)- John Lott is the most admired and the most vilified of researchers on the effects of laws that restrict gun ownership and being armed in public, and the effects of the reform of laws that restrict gun ownership and bearing arms in public.

His research is well accepted among his peers, and vilified by those who disagree with his results.

John had to learn the hard way that honest science about guns and gun laws is not welcome in most of academia.

Unfortunately, academia has, in large part, been taken over by people who are ignorant of guns and gun legislation, and who are proud of their ignorance.  To a great many academics, the facts about guns do not matter.  They have already made up their minds.  To them, what is important is how facts can be contorted to support pre-existing policy decisions.  Studies, scientific reputations, math, are all merely tools to push policy in a way that they intend for it to go.

But responsible Second Amendment supporters are making a difference.  They do not get the facts out in New York Times articles, or in fake documentaries by Michael Moore or Katy Couric.

They comment.  Their fact based comments permeate the comment sections of newspapers, online publications, blogs and TV stations.  They are winning the debate with facts and logic.

What they must have is ammunition in the form of facts.  This ammunition is available on the net, but it tends to be a little dated.  It is also spread out in numerous sites.

John Lott has had to answer all the false claims and investigate the fraudulent studies of the gun haters.  They refuse to debate him.  They refuse to appear on the same TV shows as him.  They dare not allow the truth to get out.

John has taken their fraudulent arguments apart in his new book, The War on Guns, and destroyed them with facts.  The subtitle of the book is: “Arming Yourself Against Gun Control Lies.” He methodically dismantles all of the latest gun hater myths.  His book is a direct antidote to the flood of fraudulent “studiespaid for by Michael Bloomberg.

John does an excellent job at providing Second Amendment supporters with the ammunition that they need to debunk the lies spread by gun haters.

He explains why academics are afraid to honestly address the subject of firearms restrictions.

He addresses “background checks”, police attitudes, public health “research“, comparison of the U.S. to other countries, mass public shootings, stand your ground laws and more.

He devotes an entire chapter to debunking the myth that Australian gun confiscation reduced crime, homicides, an suicide in Australia.

If you are a Second Amendment supporter who fights for the Constitution, truth, and your right to arms, get this book.  Read it and keep it by your computer.

It will provide the ammunition you need to refute the fraud on those who want to disarm you.

The War on Guns is available on Amazon for $17.62 in hardcover, or on Kindle for 15.87.

    1. I wish folks would get it right. This is NOT a war on guns–it is a war on the Constitution and the Second Amendment of the Bill of Rights. In other words it is a war against our freedoms–guns are just the most current control item on the Democrat/socialist agenda. Quoting famous communist VI Lenin–“The goal of socialism is communism.” Think how many folks were voting for avowed socialist Bernie this year….
