PLANO, Ill. -(Ammoland.com)- Deer and turkey hunting tactics have expanded and evolved to new levels in recent years, largely due to calls, decoys, and concealment options that are better than ever.

Ameristep has been leading the way in ground blind form and function for nearly 20 years now.

Lightweight and easily deployed, these blinds cater to the demands of the modern hunter by offering more combinations of cutting-edge performance features than the competition.

Available in a variety of configurations and sizes, these amazing hunting tools are engineered and built for success with the finest materials.

While hub-style blinds are a great option for hunters that demand full concealment, there are times when full-sized traditional hubs simply aren’t practical.

Ask any run and gun turkey hunter how often he or she deploys a full-size blind when chasing a stud gobbler through the hills and hollers, and the likely answer is just about never.

The simple truth is this: Hunters who are constantly on the move need to travel light. They’ll trim back the load they carry, go with a single decoy, and leave a lot of stuff back at the truck – including their ground blind.

But that doesn’t mean they wouldn’t appreciate some additional concealment. If only there was a compact, lightweight blind that sets up fast and folds up to fit into a turkey vest.

I would like to see a throwdown blind that is taller like 40″ or so which would enable one to sit on a seat and still be camouflaged and not have to sit on the ground.

Whoa! It beats having to carry a 30# ground blind or climbing tree-stand, especially in areas where there is theft of hunting equipment! Now I can carry the blind AND a cow elk folding decoy strapped to my backpack
