USA -(Ammoland.com)- By now you probably know, there was no vote in Iowa Senate on HF517 last week due to tight schedules in the legislature thanks to the second funnel of 2017.
Senator Brad Zaun has assured us publicly that the bill will be run for debate and a vote this coming Tuesday, April 4th.

Senate Vote on HF517 Expected Tuesday!
Despite last week’s delay we did learn some very good news. House Speaker Pro Tem (and Second Amendment champion) Matt Windchitl reports that he’s been in talks with Governor Branstad and the governor intends to sign HF517 into law when the bill is brought to him.
One Year Ago…
Last Friday was the one year anniversary of the legalization of suppressors in Iowa. Despite the long wait we’re getting more and more reports of Iowans getting their tax stamps and suppressors.
However, we still have not heard a single report of any James Bond or Jason Bourne or any other Hollywood style hitmen using suppressors to take out Iowans…
