Ft Collins, CO –-(Ammoland.com)- “May the forces of evil become confused on their way to your house.” ~ George Carlin

“Two of the rifles were outfitted with medium-magnification scopes and two-legged supports, known as bipods, attached to the undersides of the weapons. These additions would have helped Mr Paddock target specific individuals. ”

The foregoing is a quotation from a news article about last Sunday’s shooting in Las Vegas.

It is as if Torquemada, “Grand Inquisitor” in 15th Century Spain, has been reincarnated in 2017 to write about “medium-magnification scopes” and “ two-legged supports known as bipods,” as if they are creations of the Devil himself!

Breathtaking idiocy displayed by leftist “journalists” is apparently the “new normal.”

American gun owners take note of leftists’’ nonsensical, but deliberate, vilification of bipods, scopes, “bump-stocks, etc.

“Though this be madness, yet there is method in’t.” ~ Shakespeare’s Hamlet, (Act II, Scene II)

Leftists may appear looney, but never underestimate the rational precision of their detailed plan to utterly destroy the reality of private gun ownership in the USA. Yes, there is “method” in leftists’ madness.

What does it mean?

At this point of the play, Hamlet and Polonius are interacting onstage, but this quotation is technically spoken by Polonius to the audience, in an aside. What Polonius is saying is that, even though Hamlet is talking crazy, it actually makes sense.

“I’m not paranoid, I’m not scared, I’m just a little prepared as I embrace the chaos that is this short ride we get in the universe.” ~ Shawn Lupka

OR how many different barrel prints were found….. questions the answers to which are wanted by the public who pays the outrageous salaries of the “uffishulls” who are stalling……

Does the N.Y.Times know the difference between the breach end of a firearm and the muzzle end? If so, when did they learn the difference and who taught them.

Boz

Caveman Bock, well known for discovering fire, has discovered a new technique to throw his spear. It’s called “pointing”. Rather than just throwing it willy-nilly, he actually takes time to: 1. Face the intended target; 2. Throw with intended force….TOWARDS the intended target; 3. Follow through on his throw. “The method of POINTING, invented by caveman Bock back in 3,000,000 B.C. ……….would have helped Mr Paddock target specific individuals.” OMG! We’d better ban pointing a weapon! It might help someone kill more individuals. Better yet, let’s just preemptively gouge out everyone’s eyes. THAT will surely prevent anyone from targeting anyone.… Read more »

@Boz, And lets not forget to ban discovering new techniques and technologies. Remember what the great leader said about proper governance of his people, “We don’t let them have guns. Why would we let them have an idea!”.

Heed the Call-up

Boz, I have read that blind people do shoot firearms, and they can accurately hit targets that make noise. And some shooting acts do blindfolded shooting, too. So, gouging eyes probably still wouldn’t work.

I’m not so sure the article wasn’t deliberately written falsely in order to scare and intimidate the millions of gun ignorant individuals out there. We, the gun people, know better and scoff at what appears blatant stupidity, but with the extensive research facilities and staffs of the major media organizations, something like this has to be deliberate on their part. To them, and most of corporate America, lying has become an asset to be exploited and the truth something that is simply an obstacle to be avoided in order to achieve their goals.

Firebrand

Wow. Fake news here. Ok I am all for the 2nd and 1st amendments, so I am a big supporter of gun rights. But you don’t get them by spewing false information and fake news. The fake news part of this is the headline. Not finding a lead that bled, the author made one up. It’s a stretch to say the New Times call bipods Evil, as in the quote? The author is quoting something in their head. While the real quote he pulled clearly states what is truth. Unless the reason I have been taught to use a bipod… Read more »

While bi-pods are very useful, shooting from the 42 floor down to the ground would not be the time to use one. It would hamper your ability to aim. So while you wrote factual things, you may have missed the point.

Heed the Call-up

Firebrand, yes, they didn’t call the supports evil, but this is a direct quote of what was printed by the NYT:

Two of the rifles were outfitted with medium-magnification scopes and two-legged supports, known as bipods, attached to the undersides of the weapons. These additions would have helped Mr. Paddock target specific individuals.”

The story was inflammatory, that was just one paragraph. It was not written to be informative nor balanced, but provocative.
