Delray Beach, Fla. – -(Ammoland.com)-Century Arms, North America’s premier AK manufacturer, has announced the arrival of Red Army Standard .223 FMJBT ammunition. The new addition to the Red Army Standard brand features a boat tail bullet for increased accuracy and sealed neck and primer for weather resistance.

“Building upon the success of our 7.62×39 FMJBT offering with a sealed neck and sealed primer, we wanted to offer similar features in the .223 cartridge”, said William Sucher the company’s VP of Business Development. “Unfortunately due to capacity limitations, this will only be available in limited quantities, but we are excited to be able to get back into the .223 market.”

The new .223 Rem FMJBT (Full Metal Jacket Boat Tail) ammunition is manufactured in Russia in the same facility that produces the recently launched Red Army Standard 7.62×39 FMJBT and features a 56 grain FMJBT bullet with a bimetal jacket and lead core, non-corrosive primers, and a lacquered steel case. The desirable mil-spec features such as moisture resistance and the affordable price point makes this ammunition an optimal choice for long term storage use and a great practice round due to its environmental ruggedness. This ammunition is ideal for any .223/5.56 chambered firearm when you need reliable, cost-effective rounds.

Red Army Standard continues to deliver affordable, high quality ammunition at a competitive price that is a cut above other more common imports.

The new .223 ammunition comes packed in 20 round boxes and 1,000 rounds per case with an MSRP of $5.00 per box and $249.99 per case.

Heretic

Never mind the Russians, how about what our own democRAT Party is doing to us?

Dave

This stuff has a lacquered case like other Russian garbage. Do not, and I repeat, do not shoot this stuff in a AR style rifle. Well maybe go ahead if you like using paint thinner to get the lacquer out of your firearm. Told one of my buddies not to shoot Russian .223 garbage in his Bushmaster. Went ahead and did it then told me he should have listened to me.

Century Arms does not even have this new .223 Red Army Ammo listed. Not yet anyway. Did they ever give a release date?

Olivio

What difference does it matter when this ammo will be released. You don’t plan on buying any do you. With the shit going on with the Russians now why would you even consider this.
