The Tampa Police Department has over 1,000 sworn officers, covering three districts that encompass the entire municipality of Tampa, Florida.

The intuitive 3-point takedown requires no trigger pull for disassembly, and safety features include a striker safety, disconnect safety, and optional manual safety.
The Tampa Police Department will acquire 1,375, P320 pistols to replace their current Smith & Wesson M&P’s as the approved official duty pistol.

Cost per unit it’s a wise decision of that department is on a tight budget -The Army paid about 200.00 per unit I wonder how much they cost under the blue label program ?

As an owner of both, gotta say as long as it’s the trigger upgraded Sig, that was a good move. Better trigger on the Sig translates to a more accurate gun platform. As always though, YMMV
I think it was a great decision. I’m very happy with my Sig P320 that I carry as my duty firearm.

I own a Sig 320 – 45 cal. Love it! Very accurate ! And I have never have a problem even when it should have been cleaned before going to the firing range!
