Toronto, 22 July 18 (Sunday), deadly van attack upon innocent Canadian citizens by a single Islamic terrorist.
At least ten fatalities. Twice that number injured. Terrorist deliberately directed his deadly rage at women.
While the liberal Canadian and American media are unconvincingly insisting there is “no evidence to support ISIS’ claim of responsibility” (because such a connection will violate their liberal agenda), most of the rest of us are unpersuaded of ISIS’ innocence!
Suspect (now deceased) suffered from “long-term mental illness,” (apparently never treated) according to his parents, who are first-generation immigrants from Pakistan.
As noted above, this is not a story the media likes, so they are doing their best to pretend it never happened!
Here is part of this story that has escaped even what meager coverage there has been:
The attack took place in Toronto’s famous, and well known, “Greektown.” Most victims were Greek Orthodox Christians.
Orthodox Greek Christians dared to revolt, successfully in 1821, against cruel, barbaric Islamic rulers of the decaying Ottoman Empire. Since, Muslims have availed themselves, in recurring massacres, of every opportunity to slaughter their Orthodox Christian Greek (and Armenian) neighbors.
Indeed, Islamics happily slaughter all Christians and Jews (plus Buddhists, Hindus, et al) every chance they get, but Greek Orthodox Christians (“uppity women” especially) enjoy a particularly high profile on their “target list.”
Yet, we’re dubiously assured by liberals that the perpetrator of last Sunday’s attack was “mentally ill,” a “lone wolf,” and obviously unaware of the foregoing.
The second important aspect of this under-reported story is that Canada’s absolute prohibition of CCW by private citizens, in all provinces, insured that no one would be armed in Greektown last Sunday.
Published comments of multiple Canadians (carefully selected by the media) piously defend their government’s enforced victimhood, stating that they “proudly remain both disarmed and unwilling to fight back against violent criminals under any circumstances!”
These “proud victims” will be cheerfully granted their wish during future Islamic attacks!
Liberals down here wish the same despicable fate on all of us, but at least a few Americans are still hesitant about unquestioningly embracing their “let’s all be good victims” philosophy!
We Americans know and understand that, once we all are forcibly disarmed, we’ll never get our guns, nor our freedom, back, short of a civil war!

Another nail into the coffin of common sense, reality, and any remaining courage among most of the citizenry. Frankly, I really don’t care what a madman or whacked-out zealot uses to victimize innocent people, or even the increasing number of morons who are at least minding their own business at the moment, unaware of the jeopardy. @Country Boy I think you have a winner there. I use to go to a doctor that was a Pakistani and he was marginal until he went to Pakistan for three weeks. When he came back he was meaner than a snake. I said, later. Another doctor told me that he was running a clinic several days a week in another town and the organization took another doctor on to help and he was Asian. The media is really sick and twisted. It’s their job to report facts, not their perspectives and opinions. When did the media become the globalist propaganda branch?

If this is the author’s interpretation of some statements and attitudes, it should not be in quotation marks.
I’ll agree that this is a relevant point, to show criminals, and terrorist don’t rely on guns, and we certainly won’t be protected by increased gun control measures… but I highly doubt the situation would’ve been much better with a few ccw holders plinking their <800fps rounds off of the windshield. This just shows that a violent individual will find a way to take innocent lives regardless of any new gun control legislation.
History records that most times when ANYONE dares to shoot back the attack will be ended, willingly or because perp has taken fire and is done. The enabling factor of a defenseless gathering of victims, when suddenly removed by the unexpected FACT of return fire (or even a credible threat of such, as happened mulitple times) nearly always brings the rampage to a halt. Besides, by some set of unplanned circumstances, perhaps ONE of the armed citizens (not present in Canada) would have opportunity to fire through the relatively thin concealment of the ever-thinner cheap steel of the side door… Read more »
Yep, you’re right. Even the slow ol’ .45acp will go through the door of an 70s. to ’90s car door/hood/trunk lid.. And the sheetmetal on 2000 to present is so thin, it’ll bend if one leans on it. Espeically the japanese/chinese cars

B, not all ccw,s carry a .45 @ 800 fps. Some carry .357 sig, solid copper round, w/ a 90 gr. bullet, moving on at 1650 fps, which will go through any common windshield, without deviation. Carry best you can for most situations, if you live in a constitutional state.
The elites in Canada and the U.S. care nothing for the “common people”. There are lots of us. We are expendable and replace ourselves automatically. The elites care nothing if moslems kill Christians. The answer is eliminate the elites by forcing them to live like everybody else. Term limits the people’s right of recall, ban the party system, and ban the professional bribers known as lobbyists.
@ Wild Bill You summed it up. History is trying to repeat itself. I Have never heard a body count forced by all the elites who over time have dispensed of common people to gain the end to their means. The beat goes on but occasionally the common folk win. Let’s hope it works that way in our generational fight to be free and control our government.
All the attacks that make national news are at places where gun carry is restricted or flat out denied. The problem arises tho that even most CCW carriers are not prepared when something does happen. Take a class, get your certificate, go to the range and shoot up some paper once a month and think your ready…you’re not. To clarify, the Yonge St van attack was 23 APR 2018, & the Greektown shooting in which 1 10 year old girl & 18 year old woman were killed was 22 JUL 2018. Both terrible events for which Canadian media & gov’t have tried to hide the truth.
Every Muslim is a potential terrorist as well as any liberal supporting the calliphate. It’s past time to decomission the threat.
