Fairfax, VA – -(Ammoland.com)- Democratic Sen. Heidi Heitkamp (N.D.) said on Thursday that she will oppose Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
Heitkamp’s decision comes less than a day after the FBI wrapped up its investigation into the sexual assault allegations against Kavanaugh.
Chris W. Cox, executive director of the National Rifle Association Institute for Legislative Action, today released the following statement in response to Sen. Heidi Heitkamp’s decision to vote against the confirmation of President Donald Trump’s Supreme Court nominee:
“Today, Heidi Heitkamp put partisan politics above the rights of law-abiding North Dakota gun owners. Right now, the U.S. Supreme Court is split 4-4 on the basic right to keep a firearm in the home for self-defense. Therefore, a vote against confirming Judge Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court is a vote against the fundamental right to self-defense.”
Editors Note: Senator Heidi Heitkamp is up for reelection in November vote accordingly.

Stupid voters who only pay attention every four years, hear about a RINO who needs to be voted out and decide to not vote at all or punish the whole Republican Party. In a General Election vote for Republicans because nationally the party with a 1 vote majority controls the committee assignments, even the parking spaces. NRA needs to produce a video showing its beginning. It could start with a scene of a Civil war battle, showing Union soldiers shots going wild. Then the scene from “The Fighting 69th” where Alabama soldiesrs boasting about outshooting the New Yorkers and Father Duffy agreeing.
Next a scene of veterans forming the NRA to improve the poor marksmanship of big city soldiers. Then,of course, getting Congress to establish the Board for the Promotion of Rifle Practice and appointing a Director of Civiian Mrksmanship
Menstion that many law enforcement and military instructors were NRA trained.

That’s IF enough conservatives get off their butts and vote instead of “leaving-it-to-the-next-guy” attitude. Hopefully this attack on Kavanah has put a fire under their butts to DO EXACTLY that.
