Providence Hill Farm Sporting Club Hosts 2019 NSCA S. Central Regional Sporting Clay Championship

JACKSON, Miss. –   -(AmmoLand.com)- Providence Hill Farm Sporting Club will host the NSCA South Central Regional Sporting Clay Championship and Annual Providence Cup beginning this Wednesday, July 17, through Sunday, July 21, 2019.

Sporting clay shooting is one of the fastest growing sports in the United States, and the NSCA South Central Regional is one of the largest sporting clay events in the world, expecting to draw over 600 competitors and more than 1,000 visitors from across the nation.

The 2019 Championship marks the second time Providence Hill Farm Sporting Club will host an NSCA regional tournament in the last three years and compliments the Club’s designation as the host of the 2020 World FITASC Championship.

On Wednesday, July 17, Providence Hill Farm Sporting Club will host a Pro-Am Shooting Spectacular in which sponsors and professional shooters will be paired together in the same fashion as a pro-am golf tournament, shooting the official sporting clay courses as teams. PHFSC will host a dinner and cocktail reception for the Pro Shooters and sponsors following the shooting event. This event was a huge hit in 2017, with twice as many sponsors and Pros shooting this year.

During the 5-day event, participants will compete in eight shooting events against other skilled competitors. Several World Champion sporting clay shooters will be competing, including Desirae Edmunds, Zach Kienbaum, Gebben Miles, Michelle Miles, Bill McGuire, and Wendell Cherry. As the participants compete, attendees may visit vendors, including target machine vendor Promatic, gunmakers Beretta USA and Blaser, and an American ammunition staple, Winchester Ammunition. Spectators are welcome to watch the action free of charge, with golf cart rentals available to tour the property. Lunch is available every day for purchase and enjoyment of the Pros as well as spectators.

“For over 150 years, Winchester has had a rich legacy in the hunting and the shooting sports. Working with key organizations and events is an important part of continuing that legacy,” said Matt Campbell, Winchester vice president of sales and marketing. “We are proud to support the 2019 NSCA South Central Regional at Providence Hill Farm Sporting Club and continue our support of the NSCA Championship Tour, Powered by Winchester.”
