What’s really behind the fear of guns?

Crybabys College Snowflakes
Anti-Gunners oppose gun-ownership because they are simply scared of guns and propaganda from a dishonest media, keeps them in a perpetual state of gun-fear.

USA – -(AmmoLand.com)- With all this talk about Red Flag Laws, gun-buybacks, and gun confiscations, there’s one thing that Gun-Owners often don’t recognize about the anti-gun crowd.

Gun-Owners consistently bring up the logical argument that, the anti-gun crowd works hard to take guns away from law-abiding citizens but does nothing to get guns out of the hands of criminals. This argument is valid because it’s true. Although the Gun-Grabbers claim to want to keep guns out of the hands of criminals, they really want to take guns away from everyone. Some would argue, “more so,” from law-abiding citizens because they are typically Republican voters, and the political opposition of the gun-grabbing Left.

However, most Anti-Gunners oppose gun-ownership, because they are simply scared of guns. They typically have no experience with guns and they often make no attempt to educate themselves by going to the range or discussing the topic with Gun-Owners. This lack of knowledge, coupled with colorful anti-gun rhetoric and propaganda from a dishonest media, keeps them in a perpetual state of gun-fear.

The topic of guns has been fashioned to be one of many wedges used to divide people politically.

The most disturbing part of the gun-grab and those who support it is that they typically support banning guns altogether because they have been taught to believe that guns are the culprit. They believe that guns “cause” people to do bad things. They believe that when people have access to guns they often act irrationally. In other words “the gun made me do it.” This type of belief is commonly found among those of the victim-mindset, and often among those who feel emotionally-reactive to the outside world.

Fearful Anti-Gunners want nothing more than for guns to just go away. They don’t trust you with guns because they wouldn’t trust themselves with guns. In this society, who should we be more concerned with, the law-abiding Citizen who has never been in trouble, or the fearful Anti-Gunner who believes that guns cause people to act irrationally?

Gun-Grabbers consistently make the argument of “what if?” “What if someone gets angry in traffic.” “What if two people have an argument?” They often imply that under these situations and others like them, people will pull out a gun and shoot someone. What they fail to recognize is that, those thoughts are occurring in their own mind. They often don’t consider the fact that rational people are able to restrain themselves. Most people look at situations like this and can’t imagine someone being so angry that they would want to kill another person, because the thought would never cross their mind. On the other hand, many among the anti-gun crowd can’t imagine someone not pulling a gun out and killing people when under stressful situations. What does this say about them?

Sigmund Freud coined the term “Projection.” In short, Projection is the process of person “A” blaming person “B” for the thoughts that are occurring in the mind of person “A.” Anti-Gunners often want guns banned because they are scared to death at how they would react in the presence of a gun.

They fear themselves…..If the need arises they have to call someone else with a gun to protect them because they don’t have the mentality to do it themselves & don’t want you to be able to!

The News Media doesn’t help matters. The continual use of their Fully Automatic mouths, provided to them in the Constitution by the way, never cease in attempting to give these homicidal cowards some type of celebrity status. Nutz……..

The only real anti-gun people we need to worry about are those with the power to do something about taking away our guns, politicians. The rest are just annoying.

The anti-gun politicians got voted into office by the merely annoying anti-gun. We’d be well advised to worry about them all. Further, too many of the GOP are squishy on guns. We need to worry about them too.

**When I carry a gun, I don’t do so because I am looking for a fight, but because I’m looking to be left alone. The gun at my side means that I cannot be forced, only persuaded. I don’t carry it because I’m afraid, but because it enables me to be unafraid. It doesn’t limit the actions of those who would interact with me through reason, only the actions of those who would do so by force. It removes force from the equation … and that’s why carrying a gun is a civilized act. ~Marko Kloos

@USA,a few years back two scumbags state senators named John Morse and Angela Giron were recalled in Colorado for betraying the 2A and their oath to defend the constitution. We need to see a lot more of that around this country.

And a third resigned so the democrat governor could appoint a democrat in her place rather than risk losing the majority in the state senate.
I arrived in Colorado in 1971 and endured the Kale-ee-pornification of Colorado until 1993, when I left ’em to slide down the drain without me.

Partially. Certainly, there is a misplaced fear upon the inanimate object over the violent person, and if you don’t think about it too hard- much like the average voter- then it makes sense to take away the weapon and render the psycopath behind it “harmless”, while denying any responsibility to actually get that person help when they need it. The problem is that these people fear violence, and in their desparation they think they see a solution. They believe they see a glimmer of hope, in which they may never have to face this violent world themselves. Unfortunately to buy… Read more »
