I’m with you JW wanted to like it have many sig 1911s carry a 365 daily but the TREAD I thought was garbage, so I bought another DDM4V7 very happy with my purchase
I think this is a descent rifle, but I would hesitate to call it “best” of anything. Clearly if this was a consumer’s choice award, there are lots of people who disagree. I owned one for a while and I really wanted to love it. It is relatively light, fast handling, and a good looking rifle. My biggest gripe with it was the fit and finish, which in my experience, is usually not an issue for Sig.
