The Left Calls for Boycotts While Attacking Pro Gun Parkland Survivors

U.S.A. –-(Ammoland.com)- When Laura Ingram said that David Hogg “whined” about not getting into college, David Hogg, under the direction of the far left group Media Matters, called for his 600,000 Twitter followers to boycott any advertisers that advertise on her show. Ingram apologized to Hogg, but he refused to accept her apology. Advertisers left her show in mass.

Hogg went on CNN and called Ingram a “bully.” He stated that is why he would not accept her apology. The left cheered him as a hero that struck a blow for their side. They wrapped themselves up in the “anti-bully” flag.

Hogg has called a Senator the NRA’s “bitch” for not sharing his views on gun control. He has called the NRA murders. He has told gun owners that they have blood on their hands. Hogg has even claimed that gun owners don’t care about children. Maybe he has some inside knowledge about being a bully.

While the leftist will attack anyone that would dare question their media darling, David Hogg, that doesn’t stop them from attacking the pro-gun students from Parkland. Some of the same people that jumped on Ingram for making Hogg cry by bringing up the fact he can’t get into college have said some pretty vile stuff to right-leaning students from Parkland.

Kyle Kashuv is a survivor of the Parkland shooting. He is also an active Second Amendment proponent. He acknowledges the founding father’s original intent. At the same time, he is working with both sides of the aisle to get legislation passed that do not infringe on the rights of the people such as the “Stop School Violence Act.”

This act would create an anonymous reporting system to report threats to the schools. It would also provide training for students, teachers, and law enforcement to deal with an attack. Finally, it would offer grants to schools for metal detectors and devices to notify law enforcement of an attack like panic buttons found in banks. The “Stop School Violence Act” has bipartisan support in Congress.

Since Kashuv doesn’t support gun control then according to the left, he is fair game for their disgusting attacks. All you have to do is look at the tweets sent by the leftist to Kashuv. It seems like the rules do not apply to the left.

“Kyle…you continue to disappoint. Trafficking in fantasies, fine,” Kurt Eichenwald tweets to Kashuv. “Your followers are infantile, your only form of debate is insult. And you wonder why I have no respect for you.”

According to Eichenwald verified Twitter account he is a contributing editor at the New York Times and Vanity Fair. I have been trying to get a comment from those two publications on Eichenwald’s Tweets, but so far, they have not responded. Eichenwald made the claim he sent the tweet to the wrong person. It weakens his case by using Kashuv’s name in his Tweet.

This tweet isn’t the only time the left has attacked Kashuv. Max Fawcett, who is a high ranking Canadian government official, took to Twitter to attack Kashuv. This tweet shows that hatred of anything to the right of Marx crosses borders.

When Kashuv tweeted that he canceled his Hulu account for dropping their ads on Laura Ingram’s show, Fawcett retweeted Kashuv’s post with the comment “Cucksevatives are the best. So fragile!”

This tweet by Fawcett came only a day after he celebrated the loss of Ingram’s advertisers because she said Hogg “whined.” He went as far as to tell people not to mess with the Parkland kids. I guess he does not see the hypocrisy of his actions.

Other people try to make their attacks subtle. Look at CNN’s Joan Walsh. She has a habit of liking tweets attacking Kashuv. It is no wonder CNN canceled his interview after he retweeted an article critical of the network.

When Walsh was called out for her actions, she went after Kashuv by implying that he can’t handle stress. Kashuv was just in a mass shooting. Maybe it’s time to boycott CNN’s advertisers.

Kashuv is not the only Parkland student that the left is attacking for not supporting their radical agenda on gun control. Patrick Petty’s sister, Alaina, was tragically killed in Parkland. He doesn’t think gun control would have prevented the shooting and saved his sister. He doesn’t think his sister would have wanted people’s rights infringed.

The idea that a Parkland survivor who lost his sister in the shooting would not support more gun control was too much for Lauren Cohen. Cohen is the star of the show, Below Deck Mediterranean, on Bravo. The show is about the former cheerleader experiencing the “yacht life” in the Mediterranean.

Cohen tweeted to Petty that his sister would be still here if there were an assault weapons ban. In the vile Tweet, she writes that “You would think he would be defending his sister’s life.”

In another Tweet, Cohen suggests that Petty should get “professional” help. Petty is a kid that just lost his sister to a psychopath. There is no media outrage about what Cohen Tweeted. Why is there outrage when someone points out that a kid was whining about not getting into college, but there is no outrage when someone claims a shooting survivor who’s sister was killed was not doing enough to defend her life?

What the left is doing is weaponizing the Parkland kids. They are using them to push their anti-gun agenda. For example, Petty wanted to speak at the March for Our Lives, but organizers denied his request. I guess what he had to say didn’t fit their narrative.

By exploiting these kids, they can try to stave off criticisms of their broken ideas. If you disagree with these kids, they will call for a boycott. If you speak out against their stance, they will try to end your career. Advertisers have a habit of caving to the loony left.

What can we do to counter these attacks? I am usually against boycotts to stifle speech. I think that it is usually counterproductive and un-American. In this case, I don’t think we have another choice.

Leftist groups like Media Matters are using these boycotts to silence voices on the right. If we don’t fight back, we will have no voices left in the media. I am not willing to go quietly into the night.

Back in the 80s, we had something called M.A.D. to deal with the Soviet nuclear threats. M.A.D. stood for “mutually assured destruction.” We need to take those principles and apply it to social media.

Every time you see someone in the leftist launch an attack we need to contact their advertisers and get their ads pulled. We also need to contact the advertisers of right-wing shows that are under attack and let them know if they pull their ads there will be a boycott.

We need to let them know if they stick by the “Laura Ingrams” of the world then we will stick by them. We have the buying power to do it. Look at Dick’s. Their profits are way down due to pro-gun people taking their business elsewhere.

I have already canceled Hulu and Netflix for pulling their ads. We need everyone to do the same thing. Once you do, post it on social media and tag the companies. This fight isn’t going anywhere. We can let the leftist silence speech, or we can fight back with our money.

Make no doubt about it. If we let the left get away with silencing Ingram, then they will continue to target other right-leaning media figures until there are none left.
