Fairfax, VA – -(Ammoland.com)- The last person you expect your kid to be bullied by is his school principal.
But that’s exactly what Lisa Riley, the mother of a recent high school graduate from Carlsbad, New Mexico, says happened to her son.
Last year, Principal Adam García Amador of Carlsbad High School allegedly tried to “bully” Will Riley into silence as he planned a nationwide walkout in support of the Second Amendment.
Despite those alleged threats, Will Riley went on to lead a successful nationwide high school walkout, Stand for the Second. Lisa Riley wrote in a letter to the school board claiming that Adam García Amador “supported and assisted” gun control advocates in their walkout, but threatened her son with criminal charges over his planned walkout.
“These actions are a clear example of viewpoint discrimination, and like any form of discrimination, are unacceptable in the public schools,” Riley writes in the August 19, 2018, letter.
Riley writes that in his first meeting with her son, Amador was “hostile and rude” to her son and even claimed, “the Second Amendment is not even a part of the Bill of Rights.” In a subsequent meeting, Riley claims Amador brought in five police officers in “an attempt at intimidation,” and threatened her son repeatedly with criminal charges, saying he would hold Will personally responsible for anything “anyone” did wrong.
“Amador’s repeated threats of arrest stand in sharp contrast to the assurances given to the National Day of Action [gun control] students, that law enforcement was there “for their protection, and not to quell their Expression,”adds Riley.
The NRA Institute for Legislative Action reached out to Principal Amador for comment. He directed us to the school superintendent’s office for a response. The superintendent was not immediately available for comment.
Riley says she waited to go public on Amador’s actions until after her son graduated from high school because she feared retaliation.

Mr. Amador, As a former educator, I am appalled and sickened by your idiotic words and actions. You can’t fix stupid!
Creating a hostile work environment placed an organization and the perpetrator in serious legal jeopardy in addition political views are a protected class where both are elements of employment law. Since a students educational career is being jeopardized it seems it would be reasonable to apply the precepts of employment law to education in order to protect the student. In this case the school and district would be liable and principle would be personally liable.
This would significantly change the nation’s discourse.
Creating a hostile work environment exposed the institution and the author of the hostility to sever legal consequences in that political preference is a protected class and is central to employment law. This should apply to education with the same force,
some-body should hand him a copy of the bill of rights and ask him to find how many contain the word (people)..maybe he will notice the 2nd

Isn’t it when they use three names the guy is a terrorist? I thought that was the way it was in the corrupt propaganda cabal. So this so called brain eaten principal fails his citizenship test saying 2af is not part of the bill of rights, terrorized the poor kid by at least two felonies. Intimidation and threatening, not sure on new Mexico laws, but where I carried a badge, each was about 4 yrs in the pen, I would give him 20 to life and let him be principally in charge of the government section in the pen library.

Saw this story on another site. This is the type of people we are paying to educate our children. There should be a reprimand or firing over this but I doubt either will occur. The liberals in the school district will circle the wagons around one of their own.
