Miami, FL, U.S.-(Ammoland.com)- 1791 Gunleather, innovative manufacturer of premium hand-crafted leather gun holsters, introduced two new gun holster belts to their assortment of hand-crafted leather goods. Available now, in Classic Brown or Stealth Black, 1791 Gunleather Gun Holster Belts are designed to meet the highest expectations of every day carriers and include the 1791 Gunleather Lifetime Warranty.

“Thanks to the skill of our expert leather artisans the 1791 Gunleather Gun Belts 01 are practically built for carrying your firearm yet stylish enough to wear every day,” said 1791 Gunleather CEO, Ramiro M. Romani. “And considering the high level of quality craftsmanship combined with premium American leather, they’re very reasonably priced at $59.99.”

“When you invest in a handgun, its important to choose a strong, purpose-built belt designed to spread the weight of your gun over a wide area,” said Romani. “With lower-quality belts the weight of a holstered weapon can take a toll and cause sagging. 1791 Gunleather Gun Belts 01 offer just enough flexibility to remain strong, secure, and comfortable.”

1791 Gunleather Gun Belts 01 are constructed with full-grain, 14-ounce leather found only on the top and most durable layer of heavy native steerhide. “Our premium American heavy native steerhide is not sanded beyond tanning or dyeing, and the detailed process delivers a superior leather that’s perfect for rugged working belts,” said Romani. “Fashion belts are often made from leather or suede treated with processes that make them softer. Those methods can cause the material to degrade much more quickly, especially when bearing the load of a gun holster. Think of the difference in sturdiness between handbag leather and horse bridle leather. Which would you rather depend on for your EDC gun?” he asked.

I’m sorry, but having driven a car with the brake and the gas pedal in the same place for over 50 years, would make it tough if someone suddenly decided to move the brake pedal to a new location—especially if I couldn’t reach it with my right foot. I’ve been an LE trainer for over 40 years and have seen what works and what doesn’t. This may be a “dandy” idea for some but not for me. I do carry two spare mags for my 1911, both in the same place. Having a spare mag stick up right in front… Read more »

I have one of these holsters and the location of the mag pouch, though not ideal, is still reachable with your weak hand. The construction and finish are well above average and excellent for the price!

Think of the mag pouch on the holster as a back-up for the pouch on your weak side and you have a neat idea. With 1911’s and 6-8 round mags it’s prudent to have more than one accessible if SHTF.

I’m afraid that spare mag and pistol on the same side is a bit contrary to common training and common sense. Looks like nice stuff, but somebody needs to ask them how they plan to do a reload. Even if you reach across with your support hand, the mag would be backwards in the pouch. Not too well thought out

I, too, hav thought that these rigs (which seem to be the newest fad these days) are all about people thinking “oh, what a neat idea! Now I don’t have to buy a separate mag carrier!” and totally impractical. Note to all holster makers: STOP MAKING HOLSTERS WITH BUILT-IN MAG POUCHES! There, . . . . . now I feel better.
