Fairfax, VA – -(Ammoland.com)- The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) today kicked-off a seven-figure media campaign in the Missouri senate race with an ad titled Always Missouri. The ad will air statewide on cable, regional broadcast and digital platforms.
“Our basic right to keep a firearm in the home for self-defense is at risk ” said Chris W. Cox, chairman of NRA-PVF. “Claire McCaskill consistently sides with liberal, anti-gun elites and against our constitutional freedoms. If Missourians want to protect their basic right to self-defense they need to replace Claire McCaskill.”
The ad focuses on the Second Amendment and the Supreme Court. Currently, the U.S. Supreme Court is split 4-4 on the basic right to keep a firearm in the home for self-defense. Consistent with all of her previous votes on Supreme Court nominees, McCaskill has stated she will side with Chuck Schumer and vote against President Trump’s current nominee, Brett Kavanaugh.
“Claire McCaskill is a threat to our constitutional freedoms. She earned her ‘F’ rating when she abandoned Missouri values to curry favor with liberal anti-gun elites in Washington, DC,” continued Cox.
McCaskill supports a ban on commonly owned rifles, voted to deny people on secret government lists their Second Amendment rights without due process, and supported President Obama’s backdoor gun ban on Social Security recipients. McCaskill has a perfect record of siding with liberal anti-gun elites on Supreme Court nominees. She voted to confirm anti-gun Justices Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan and voted against pro-Second Amendment Justice Neil Gorsuch.
“The stakes for this election are clear. If you value your constitutional right to self-defense, vote Josh Hawley for U.S. Senate. Josh Hawley will always defend our Second Amendment freedoms,” concluded Cox.

When McCaskill was the prosecutor Jackson county Missouri, if you defended yourself with a gun you were more likely to be prosecuted by her than the perpetrator of the crime was. When she ran for Senate she said she was paying for her own campaign. After she was elected she cried that she needed the millions of dollars back, to pay back her husband. This is why we all have to be active in the voting process, if in our party system, if one is the lesser of two evils, pick that one but next election hopefully there will be a better choice and vote them out, you don’t need term limits if you are keeping up with your politics!
Once again, it comes down to voting for the lesser of two evils. Not a Hawley fan, but sure against old Claire. Won’t vote for Hawley….but, sure will vote against McCaskill. Guess Hawley gets my vote by default. Is he the best Missouri has to run???? What a shame. Another career politician in the making!!!! Shades of Greitens.
This is one that has to go, I’ve lived in Mo. for over 2 1/2 years and have seen her in action, she is a true Demo-Rat working for all the free hand-outs that they can put together, along with suppressing the economy and failing to boost wages, she totally is working against what Trump is trying to put together! McCaskill had her nose up obamas rear end and Hillarys and she doesn’t represent most Missourians, her main support comes from St Louis and Kansas City both controlled by democrats.
She has fund raised in California and New York and wants their style of government brought to Missouri, we can’t take anymore of her as senator, vote her out.
McCaskill needs to go. I donated and hope others will support Mr. Hawley along with the NRA in their bid to unseat her.
