Computer problem.

john

Are you with Ammoland? Who are you? And “computer problem” says absolutely nothing.

Brent

Who Won?

john

Good question Brent. I can’t find it either.

Steve

You can’t find out if you don’t e-mail me!

john

Who won? Thanks

Brent

If for whatever reason, the winner cannot accept it. I would gladly provide a loving home to this beautiful piece. 🙂

Kenneth

I only have Facebook, no phone number. Will I still be notified if I won?

Kenny

Is it me

Kenneth

I can take possession of it, message me.

Kenneth

Will we ever find out owe won?

john

I am beginning to think all this giveaway stuff is just a scam. I’ve emailed and did not receive a response.

RicksterAR

John , I’m starting to believe you are correct. My scam detector is going crazy. I guess we will never know. I would also venture to guess if a winner was chosen & they happened to reside in N.Y. CA etc. They are sol because PSA equates residents of these states unworthy , as our government are all about destroying our 2nd Amendment rights.

john

Has anyone heard about the winner?? I thought Ammoland was going to publish that? Or maybe it was just for people to sign up for their email newsletters.

Here’s their wording:

Today is the day!

Brent

Mark…Are you the guy that had your truck show up in Syria?

Snipe hound

I have a PSA .556 rifle and love it! They offer a very high end box rifle. It is insanely accurate and reliable. I have been a fan of the creed more round since its inception. I am happy to see they have put it into their portfolio of carbine rifles! I can’t wait to own one!! I look forward to see how it compares to to Rugers precision rifle. The idea of carrying one ammo for both long distance and action fire within one rifle intrigues me. Does anyone know how far out you can accuratly reach with the… Read more »

I personally would hope to see ALL firearms relater makers leave the North East, California too as well as other firearms hostile locales. Whether of not this happens is beyond my control.

Richard Revoir

Alan , Appologies for the comment , it’s obvious to me that you are a POTG , it’s not about what I think you are , it is about you being in support of our 2nd Amendment rights. You are a POTG & just didn’t recognize the abbreviation. We are , I am sick and tired of fighting the anti gun community. They want to strip away our right’s to keep and bear arms. Why ? Because the Bloomberg’s ,and Feinstein’s of the US think they know what I / we should be allowed to own. Even as they call… Read more »

Steve Comment: Being left eye dominant, I shoot rifles left handed. I shot National Match Course competition for many years, first with a Garand, later on with bolt action rifles, mostly post 1964 Model 70’s. Even fired a few matches with the M-14 rifle. Never had any problem shooting the rapid rife stages with either of the above mentioned. That said, if you were to win one of these contests, an unlikely proposition given the mathematics of such things, you could always discuss things with the people running the contest. Otherwise, Winchester, Remington, Savage among others offer left hand bolt… Read more »

Steve

I want to win one. I know of several left hand manufacturers, but have the wife filter, also. Can’t complain. Since the day after Obama was re-elected she has bought me: Stoeger 12 ga twice barrel s-x-s, 20 ga Stoeger OU, Colt .45 ACP railgun, custom .458 SOCOM AR left hand, Stag AR15 left hand 5.56, and later a .300 BO barrel for it, Browning Pump 28 ga (bottom eject,) got me a lifetime membership in CCA-TX that came with a High Std AR15 5.56 right hand, approved my expenditures for 2 suppressors and the attendant gun trust and transfer… Read more »

Richard Revoir

Steve , you are correct. You can’t complain. It seems to me you are one lucky man. Not many people have a collection like yours. I think this rifle should be given to someone like the US Marine vet. Imho.

Christopher Marchant

Oh yes!

sound awake

hopefully the winner doesnt get one like i did had to send it back it wont be back in time for deer season wouldnt run without some type of malfunction ftf fte it had it all couldnt get the gas system adjusted right i think the bcg was bad wasted 2 hours of range time $ and 100 rounds of ammo $$ like $150 just gone psa wont do anything for me except 10 percent off on my next purchase total bs this may be the last time i do business with them i want to like them but theyre… Read more »

Gregor

Why won’t they replace it? You sent it to them, what did they say? Did they do any work to it? Did you try different brands /grains of ammo? I’ve seen videos of PSA AR’s failing to extract, failing to fire, etc. Only certain brands of ammo would work. To be fair though I’ve seen it all before with a Smith & Wesson AR-10, a few Ruger AR556’s (they wouldn’t shoot steel case ammo at all, and some would only shoot certain brass cased ammo), and other brands. Every manufacturer has their own bad runs, how they resolve it makes… Read more »

@ Alan Your comment “they don’t have to play”, see the first statement in the article , existing subscribers to the AmmoLand Shooting Sports daily digest emails will ALL be eligible to win”. We, the residence of DC, CT, NJ, IL, MD, and NY who are existing subscribers…. are automatically “playing”. But is we (one of us who are residence of DC, CT, NJ, IL, MD, and NY) are the chosen winner, we are then told “You are just out of luck”. Then it is further stated there is “No monetary compensation or substitution for ineligible winners”. It is extremely… Read more »

Richard Revoir

I left a comment addressed to the response posted by ” the other Jim ” so I ask Ammoland , where is my comment ? Is it the policy of ammoland to not put up certain posts , according to the state you live in ?

Bpjsurf

A little sensitive? Firstly I live in NJ (for the moment). We do not block comments from any specific geo area. When you post for the first time or when you post with a link or foul language your post is held by automation for an admin to approve. This process keeps a lot of spamming comments off the system and offers a better user expereince. You should give use enough time to approve comments. typically we approve every hour during the business day.
Brian

Richard Revoir

Brian Johnson , I do not use foul language. I’m also not a first time poster. I just want a faor , unbiased answer to the question posed by many of the comments on this giveaway. We all know , or should know , there is a $20 device called MA -LOCK. Any FFL can install it , thus making this rifle legal to own in the states you so flagrantly disregarded.

Richard Revoir

I live in N.Y , not by choice , but because my finances will not allow me to move. I do believe ” the other Jim ” makes a valid point. I/We POTG do absolutely support our constitutional right to KABA , I SUPPORT the second Amendment foundation , NRA , and any 2nd Amendment supporters. That said , I ask : why is it that my comments on ammoland , seem to mysteriously disappear shortly after being posted ? We as POTG should be backing every like minded , shooting sports fellow , brother , sister , toward one… Read more »

The other Jim You can draw whatever conclusions you like from the admonition in the ads text. You have made your conclusions clear, l disagree with them, but thank you anyway. Did you consider the following possibilities though? The person or persons running this promotion or contest are simply, aside from making a political statement, acquainting potential entrants with the facts of the matter? Additionally, if I may, the parties running this contest are entitled to attach such limititations to it, as they have done. Regarding any who might be unhappy with the rules of the game, they do not… Read more »

Yes, it’s a very nice rifle except but for this: “NOTE: Residents DC, CT, NJ, IL, MD, and NY may not be eligible to win. Take your complaints up with your local anti-gun lawmakers.” And this : “No monetary compensation or substitution for ineligible winners. You are just out of luck.” Sounds like the organizer of the contest despises the residence of DC, CT, NJ, IL, MD, and NY; and actually enjoys being mean spirited. Sounds like the organizer of the contest is trying to be divisive, and fraction us as a country or as unified 2nd. Amendment fighters. The… Read more »

Please define POTG, thank you. By the way, I grew up in NYC, lived there for many years. As a direct result of legislative idiocy in 1967, having testified in opposition to the dog and pony show that passed for hearings on proposed, later enacted firearms related legislation, I shook the dust of what had been my home town from my heels, never looking back. There are or should be, it seems, limits to the tolerance of people, that is to say limits as to how much crap they will put up with.

Richard Revoir

Alan , if you have to Ask , you are not one.

Alan

Your response fails to answer my question.

Richard Revoir

Alan. POTG= people of the gun ! Meaning true 2nd Amendment supporters. People that understand shall not be infringed , those of us that have grown tired of wealthy politicians dictating what they think our right’s should be. Which is not what our founding fathers established in our constitution.

Alan

Thanks for the small courtesy of a simple answer to a simple question.By the way, whether or not you would consider me to be a Person of The Gun, I have been involved in this fight since PRIOR to proposal and enactment of GCA ’68, which might be before you could write, who knows. Unfortunately, my efforts and those of other old grouches have not always been crowned with success, but we did make and still make the best effort we can.

Steve

You are asking a contest holder to usurp the laws passed by state legislators and signed off by the governors of those states. That is the responsibility of those states’ voters to correct, not the contest holders. You had an equal chance and you were outvoted. Quit blaming others who have no control over your situation. I have been flat broke and moved from one state to another. It is a matter of how much your freedom and liberty are worth to you and sacrifices you are willing to make. In no way does this contest attempt to divide this… Read more »

Its funny that I can legally buy this rifle from PSA having it shipped to my N.Y. FFL . have them install a mag -lock and after my $20 ma-lock , I’m legal !! Yet I can’t win same rifle because ? I vote red , allways have guess I’m to be punished for the left voters in my state & other Ammoland customers will suffer the loss as according to where they reside. And the other Jim , this country is divided but POTG should be sticking together , speaking to our politicians , telling our elected officials we… Read more »

I am left handed. There has not ever been one single solitary gun contest in these United States of America for a semi-auto, bolt action, or lever action rifle or shotgun, nor a semi-auto pistol for a left handed person, not one in any state. 14% of people are left handed. How divisive to these people who have supported, and still support, all of the pro 2nd Amendment organizations, write letters to government officials demanding support for all of our rights, campaign and vote for wnd Amendment supporting nominees. How can these companies show such callous disregard for POTG? It… Read more »

Pokey

Unfortunately, you live in a state that doesn’t stand behind the 2nd Amendment. Welcome to the world of liberals. This is the same reason that many firearm manufactures are moving from the northeast to the south. Southern states are more supportive on the gun laws.

Jenn

What a beautiful rifle!!! I would definitely be a happy woman if I won it !!!

Theodore S Palmier

Why not. Maybe ill have luck gor once.

Robert E Gentle

Looks great,Hope I can win.i don’t have a real good rifle

David Sherman

Ohh i hope i have some good luck for once in my life!

Joshua Francis

Good luck everyone.

Jess McDonald

Good looking rifle

Steve

Maybe my luck will hold – won a Henry Golden Boy at our local Ducks Unlimited banquet last Saturday. Haven’t had one since I wore out my 1st one somewhere around my mid 20s. Got it as a kid over 50 years ago. This one took me back to those happy times when I stepped out back to sight it in.

Steven Jackson

I’ve never won a contest before, I won’t expect to win this either. Prizes as nice and awesome as this one will be awarded to someone with a gun safe that’s full of rifles just as nice as this one. Good luck to everyone.

Wild Bill

@Steven Jackson, Yep, the chance of winning is one in a million, but the chance of saving up for it, buying it, and having obligations to no one is one in one! Happy shooting and voting, brother.

Jeff

Wow love it!

Bryan Clayton

I need to get on the 6.5 train.

John stefan

I really really could use this

K. Taylor

I will give it a good home. And will feel safer having in my home. Good luck

Kenneth

Will we ever find out?

Kenneth T

I will give a good home,I would sleep better knowing had it. Either way good luck everyone.

Greg Owens

That would be a great package

Greg

I havent owned any PSA products, I’ve been curious of the quality since the prices are decent. Aren’t their products made in China? Or just some of them?

I’m still waiting for this giveaway!!!

R L Diehl

Stop showing that woman using the totally wrong grip and stance! [Cup-and-saucer grip and leaning way back
!] We’re supposed to believe you people are firearms experts?

Rick Palluck

I have been using PSA for awhile now,and have always been satisfied with their prices and customer service.Great company to do business with. Thanks for the opportunity to win this rifle.

Rick R

Good luck to all. Someone will be a very happy huntee / shooter !!

Richard Revoir

I have attempted to comment on this site several times. Can you explain why I am subscribed to Ammoland , get notifications from Ammoland . I can not however comment , ever. I have tried and my comments are never here. Could you answer me that please ?

Steven Jackson

It’s here now.

Richard Revoir

Yes it is , the many other’s I have taken the time to write are not. It seems that ammoland is biased against certain states as far as this giveaway is concerned. I do know N.Y. has a fixed magazine option for this rifle. I do not understand why N.Y. would be on the can’t win list. Anyway good luck to all , it is a great rifle and optic , early Christmas for some lucky person.

Rick R

NY residents may not qualify ? My FFL will fix the magazine to make it compliant. Not that I’m hopefull. I never win anything , a dollar lotto once a year . that doesn’t count , as it cost a dollar to begin with. N.Y is the worst state for POTG. That is a fact !!

Ustenoff Tillman

I walk in the store and just dream of owning one of these. I go back home wondering how can I convince my wife to let me spend the money. What a great way to solve that problem. Yes, I am BEGGING for my name to be selected!!!

The Big Club

sad that your wife runs your life.. I buy what I want when I want and own several ar rifles.. hot rod lexus, campers, etc.. i have total control of all finances and the wife knows her place in the family.. sux to be you..living under the wife’s iron grip is not a mans place.

Stephen

Does it come in a left handed model?

Matt

They will make up a fictional name as to who won 🙂
Nobody ever wins this giveaway.

Smalls

Dude I won CheaperThanDirts giveaway and have my Savage rifle. People win every won of them. Stop sounding dumb.

Richard Revoir

Every one of them , Dude !! One = 1 won = . personally I do not think palmetto State Armory would go through the trouble of promoting this giveaway , just to not give the rifles to some lucky winner. Good luck everyone.

Stephen

Matt’s cup is always empty.

Mark Ott

Oh YEAH!!! 6.5 Creedmoor, I have a loving home for you to come to.

Alan

Optical sights are great, for those who fancy them, but how about Iron Sights, as in Proper Iron Sights, the rear sight being adjustable for windage and elevation. Both the Garand and the M-14/M1-A had them, and they worked just fine. Additionally, both Lyman and Redfield, some might remember them, made good Iron Sights, essentially for bolt action and or lever action rifles, but likely rigable on others too. By the way, I’m curious as to the following. Any number of adverts for AR-15 type uppers describe the things as complete including charging handle. How might one of these actually… Read more »

Taska Oring

It would still fire and load a new round BUT… without it…you would not be able to open the bolt. Now…. there are dozens of configurations of charging handles…. so they sell uppers without them… If you had ten different uppers… you may use that one charging handle in all of them…

Joel Jeffrey

6.5 creed-more would be GREAT!

Tim

Count me in, great stuff.

Jay A VandenBush

How do I enter this giveaway?
