Wilsonville, OR -(AmmoLand.com)- Crimson Trace continues its leadership position in the firearms laser sight and light accessory categories with the release of the Laserguard Pro–a light and red laser sight combination (model # LL-801) designed specifically for Smith & Wesson’s Shield semi-auto pistol.

The advantages of this product include: ease of operation with Crimson Trace’s Instinctive Activation, ease of transferring between modes, secure attachment on the pistol’s trigger guard, and a singular optic design incorporating the laser sight and bright light. The product will be available in all channels in Q2 with a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price of $279.

Crimson Trace’s new Laserguard Pro LL-801 is a new product category for the company and incorporates an easy-to-notice red laser diode coupled with a powerful 150-Lumen LED white light. The advanced skills of Crimson Trace’ in-house engineering section resulted in the creation of the new Laserguard Pro—the industry’s most durable light and laser sight combination.

Sighted in for 50 feet accuracy in Crimson Trace’s state-of-the-art Wilsonville, Oregon factory, this ultra lightweight and compact Laserguard Pro model can be easily adjusted (wrenches included) for windage and elevation. Other features include: Crimson Trace’s Instinctive Activation located under the handgun’s trigger guard along with an easy-to-locate mode switch to move the light and/or sighting laser through several options.

Those mode options include:

  • laser only
  • light only
  • laser and light
  • laser and light strobe.

A master on/off switch permits quickly turning the Laserguard Pro operation features off when wishing to conserve the CR2 Lithium battery’s power. The Laserguard Pro LL-801 is also covered under Crimson Trace’s popular Free Batteries for Life program that can save owners up to $50 across the product’s lifetime. This S&W Shield-focused product will fit both 9mm and .40 S&W caliber pistols. Holsters will be widely available from numerous manufacturers.

More models of Laserguard Pros will be released in the months ahead with all designed to fit popular pistol models. This new product, and the nearly three dozen other Laserguards already by Crimson Trace, are available for purchase in more than 2,500 locations across America.
