ALLENTOWN, Pa. -(Ammoland.com)- Camp Compass Academy’s new slogan, “Camouflaging Our Differences” is a new battle cry for unity in the outdoors. The charity has been recently challenged by a conservation minded donor who wants this message of outdoor unity spread to broader audiences through Facebook.

“We have this message, this powerful uniting message.” stated John Annoni, founder of Camp Compass. “We have been plugging along with our social media branding and all of a sudden this challenge pops up.”

Camp Compass had decided to use an overlay system on Facebook to help spread the message for unity in the outdoors and throughout the country.

With the help of the The Lehigh Valley Community Foundation and The NRA Foundation the profile overlay message began a few months ago and sparked some interest from a broad range of people. One person took the message and wanted to do more with it.

“I’m challenging America to put up or shut up. I love the message, I love helping the kids at Camp Compass and I want the outdoors to be more than what it is.” stated the donor who wishes to remain anonymous.

The challenge requires Facebook users to add one of six Camouflaging Our Differences overlays to their profile picture. For each person that changes their profile picture Camp Compass (a 501 C3) will receive a .25 cent donation up to $7,500.00.

A straight match will be made for anyone that adds a personal donation and gets a badge on their profile picture up to $2,500.00. The total amount to be donated will be capped at $10,000.00. The Charity has until April 11th to get support across America.

“Helping our kids is simple and free just go to camodiff.com, choose an overlay and then publish it to your Facebook page. It needs to be visible for 5 days and don’t forget to ask your social network friends to do the same. The count is handled automatically and additional donations are handled appropriately and securely” Annoni concluded.

Camp Compass is a unified effort to introduce urban, middle, and high school students to various outdoor activities. The nonprofit program has recently taken it upon itself to create a strong message of unity by changing its slogan.

The new slogan, “Camouflaging Our Differences,” is about sending the message that in nature our differences fade away while our connections grow stronger.
