- Thousands of people are alive today because of the self-defense tactics and techniques developed and taught by Massad Ayoob.
- Millions of people have been exposed to the shooting sports for more than 50 years thanks to Tom Gresham, the innovator of all outdoor media – print, electronic, and online.
- Even former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s anti-gun propaganda factory known as “The Trace” describes John R. Lott Jr. as “the empirical backbone for the gun-rights movement.”
- And Dean Weingarten, the “most read Second Amendment writer in history, ~ Fredy Riehl, Editor in Chief, AmmoLand News,” whose first article [over 2000+] was published in the American Rifleman in 1980, has forgotten more about gun writing than most folks will ever know.
Ayoob, Gresham, Lott, and Weingarten are just a handful of the more than 70 incredible speakers who will take the stage at the 38th Annual Gun Rights Policy Conference, which will be held September 22nd – September 24th, 2023, in Phoenix, AZ.
This year’s theme is “Road to Liberty!” A list of speakers [Ammoland News will be well represented] and their biographies can be seen here.

Come join us!!! This a great annual event. One of my annual road trips. A little far at 3000 miles round trip, but well worth it. And, I enjoy my little road trips, seeing this beautiful land and its people, which I flew over for 40 years…OH!!!!, that’s what was down there. 🙂 🙂 🙂 Turned the 2019 event, also in Phoenix, into a 6,000+ mile road trip passing through Tucson, El Paso, San Antonio, Houston x2, Dallas x2, Tampa, Orlando, annual Precision Rifle Exp in SW GA, et el en route home. No adult supervision in my life.
The problem is not that they do not know or understand the law, but that they disregard it and intentional subvert it. lntentionaIIy!!!
Anybody with the time and money can attend.
Like a lot of Conference’s one needs the desire to do so.
If you attend one will meet a lot of interesting people and learn how to better defend the 2nd.
The net working one can delevope there can be the most importent part of it.
The Gun Rights Policy Conference looks to be very interesting. So, if the Second Amendment is so important, why isn’t this conference opened up to bonified NRA, 2nd Amendment Foundation, etc. etc. to attend remotely? A whole lot of people who are passionate about the 2A may not have the time to fly to Phoenix toward the end of September for a three day conference that would sop up FIVE days (including travel) AND would cost a couple thousand bucks for airfare, plus a hotel room, and sampling the restaurants of Phoenix. I’m interested, but like other 2A supporters I… Read more »
I wonder how long it will be until projects like this will be deemed as terrorist organizations or a militia gathering because Uncle Joe will find it against his law based on the majority of people there are MAGA supporting or tea party republicans or republican in general. The thought seems outlandish, but I wouldn’t put anything past today’s government. They want to stop gun shows and where I live they sit outside and take license plate numbers and photos of people going in and out. It’s been documented via video and at one time it was shown on the… Read more »
