Anti-Gun Lobbying Group Expects & Demands Action for Helping Elect Dems

America’s oldest Second Amendment News outlet.
Democrats control all of Washington, and their frustrated base wants to get something done by any means necessary, filibuster be damned.
It will be the first Second Amendment case considered by the court since the 2010 case of McDonald v. City of Chicago that nullified the Windy City’s handgun ban
“This vote this week on making Washington DC the 51st state is about one thing, creating two new Democrat Senate seats, that’s all.”–Rep. James Comer (R-KY)
If one thing is consistent about Joe Biden, it is his penchant for getting caught telling whoppers even Washington Post Fact Checker Glenn Kessler cannot abide.
“Gun control extremists have been completely wrong in their desire erase the Second Amendment and turn a right to bear arms into a heavily-regulated privilege.”-Alan Gottlieb, SAF
“As is often the case, the Democratic Party’s laundry list of gun control demands would have done nothing to stop the Colorado shooting.”-Ted Harvey

“But linking current federal and state legislation to preventing horrors like Boulder is mere political opportunism.”—George Brauchler
“For years, anti-gunners have hounded law-abiding American gun owners with innuendo, half-truths and outright lies, and it is time to fight back with the truth.”—Alan Gottlieb

“This bill will not make our communities safer. In fact, what it will do is cause law-abiding citizens to lose more of their Second Amendment rights.”–Rep. Jody Hice (R-GA)
Admitting that criminals routinely disobey gun laws is anathema to the gun prohibitionist mindset, and they will never acknowledge this error in logic.
But this raises a question nobody on Capitol Hill seems eager to answer. Does (background check) legislation actually work?
“America’s gun owners are facing the most sinister attack on their Second Amendment rights I’ve ever seen.”—Alan Gottlieb, CCRKBA
“State preemption is the most common-sense approach to firearms regulation there is.”—Alan Gottlieb, Second Amendment Foundation
“So much of this is about the hatred of some politicians toward our constitutional freedoms and the organization that defends it, the National Rifle Association…”—Wayne LaPierre, NRA CEO
“The idea of self-defense has been a pillar in our society since even before the founding of our country. It’s a right that’s given by God and granted in the constitution.”-MT Gov. Greg Gianforte
What he calls “common sense” is considered nonsense by Second Amendment advocates who argue none of Biden’s so-called “reforms” will prevent a single violent crime.
All of this is happening while state legislatures are in full swing and the country is still waiting for Joe Biden to unleash his restrictive gun control agenda.
“We are providing them with intellectual ammunition to win the argument.”–Alan Gottlieb, Second Amendment Foundation
“The next step is to enact laws that would require microstamping to be incorporated in all new firearms after a certain date”

“But it was a bonehead idea. It was a terrible, terrible mistake to make.”—Then Sen. Joe Biden, about FDR’s effort to pack the Supreme Court
“According to Gary Marbut, president of the Montana Shooting Sports Association (MSSA), House Bill 102 is progressing.”
Legislation has been introduced in Florida, Oregon and Washington—all by Democrats—to repeal state preemption statutes that have been around for several years and have always worked.
