“Jay-Z accused in a civil lawsuit of raping a 13-year-old girl in 2000 along with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs,” NBC News reported Sunday. The anonymous accuser, identified only as ‘Jane Doe,’ said the assault happened after she was driven to an MTV Video Music Awards after-party.”

“[T]he star rapper and entrepreneur whose real name is Shawn Carter … called the allegations ‘idiotic’ in a lengthy statement Sunday evening and alleged that [Texas-based attorney Tony Buzbee, who filed the suit] was engaged in unprofessional behavior,” the report continues.

The allegations, which included spiking the girl’s drink and then raping her while an unnamed female celebrity watched and other famous partiers did drugs, are perverse and indicative of a sociopathic sense of elite entitlement and disregard for anything other than selfish gratification at the expense of untold damage to victims.

Carter came out swinging with an unequivocal denial and counterpunch.

“These allegations are so heinous in nature that I implore you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil one!! Whomever would commit such a crime against a minor should be locked away, would you not agree?”

He’s got a point, and that’s exactly what the feds are doing with Combs, who, in addition to being sued civilly, is behind bars and denied bail while facing criminal charges from prosecutors for “racketeering, sex trafficking, and other offenses.” However, to partially answer Carter, civil suits have a lower standard of proof (“preponderance of evidence”) than criminal charges (“beyond a reasonable doubt”).

Fine. So, what does any of this have to do with gun rights?

Nothing directly. But the net Jay-Z finds himself in offers plenty of opportunities to examine the lies, hypocrisy, and double standards of Democrat elites. It’s interesting that the rape is alleged to have been committed at an MTV party, and a bigger corporate shill for a decadent totalitarian monopoly of violence you will not find.

First, he’s absolutely right—without due process, we must presume he is innocent. Tell that to his fellow gun prohibitionists demanding red flag gun confiscation edicts, along with other attacks on the Second Amendment.

“Rapper Jay-Z brought his star power to a Florida peace rally in memory of slain teenager Trayvon Martin, who would have turned 23 this month,” the Associated Press reported in 2018. “Local news outlets report that Jay-Z joined Martin’s parents onstage Saturday in Miami Gardens at the sixth annual Peace Walk & Peace Talk. The rally honors gun violence victims including Martin, who Jay-Z described as a beacon of light.”

Even though it was a clear-cut case of self-defense where Florida’s “Stand Your Ground” law was not introduced, race-hustling Democrats exploited it to attack both  “white Hispanic” George Zimmerman and the law, while Jay-Z BFF Barack Obama claimed if he had a son he would look like Trayvon.

“Proud to support the incredible students behind March for our Lives,” Jay-Z announced on his Facebook in 2018. “On March 24, they march on Washington, DC to demand an end gun violence in our schools and communities. Please join them: marchforourlives.com/march-with-us #MarchForOurLives.”

Wife Beyoncé echoes his anti-gun activism, joining a gaggle of “entertainment luminaries” to hawk billionaire Michael Bloomberg’s “Demand a Plan” for disarming their fans as a response to violent crimes committed by, among others, a young Jay-Z:

“Before making it big, Jay-Z was a crack dealer in Brooklyn at the age of 13… He also has a history of violence. When he was 12, he shot his 16-year-old brother and he stabbed a record producer in December 1999.”

A double standard is further illustrated by the way the media is treating the rape allegations.

“Jay-Z says lawsuit accusing him of raping a child at awards after-party is part of an extortion ploy,” the AP headlines. “Jay-Z, Beyoncé stand united at ‘Mufasa: The Lion King’ premiere following rape accusation,” supposedly “conservative” Fox News gushes.

What happened to the “Believe Women” default that dominated the confirmation hearings for Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court? And how is it that a New York jury believed E. Jean Carroll’s accusations against Donald Trump? Both accusers could produce no actual evidence other than their claimed recollections of events that may or may not have happened many years before. If that’s the “progressive standard,” and according to Hillary Clinton, women have “the right to believed” (unless it’s Juanita Broddrick accusing her husband Bill of rape), why shouldn’t Jay-Z’s accuser be given the benefit of our trust?

That’s a double standard where anti-gun elites hold political enemies accountable while giving their own a pass.

Jay-Z has another good point, though, but one that highlights another bit of leftist cognitive dissonance when he “demands rape accuser reveal identity.”  That not only seems fair, if criminal charges were filed (as he strategically dared) it would be required by the Sixth Amendment. That someone can anonymously smear the reputation of another, legally and in “the court of public opinion,” where lives and careers can be destroyed, and not have to worry about their own reputation and credibility being examined, is grossly unfair. In this case, it illustrates yet another hypocritical double standard.

What are the reasons the accuser should be given anonymity? Because she might be embarrassed? That she might otherwise be so intimidated she would not seek justice…? So, on the one hand we’re told women can do and be anything, and on the other we’re to accept that they’re so fragile they need special DEI carve-outs and protections against men (except the obvious one of being armed). Such deference not only seems insultingly patriarchal, it also presumes the rest of us can define what Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Jackson Brown could not.

And speaking of women, assuming we take Hillary’s advice and recognize the accuser’s right to be believed, who was the female celebrity who reportedly watched, and is it safe to assume she, like the rest of the entertainment elites at the party, publicly advocates for the Democrat platform on women’s rights?

What should we make of it if she turns out to have been Beyoncé, or, since Diddy was also allegedly a part of the sexual assault, his girlfriend at the time, Jennifer Lopez, another “commonsense gun safety advocate” who was reportedly Diddy’s “gun mule” for a New York nightclub shooting?

You have to wonder what kind of mental dynamic is in play where anyone lets overprivileged celebrity reprobates, all with armed bodyguards, influence them to vote for candidates who promise to disarm them.

good example of the dichotomy of the leftist/progressive mindset. almost nothing in their mind has anything to do with the real world, they live in a kind of dream world, a utopia, which does not exist.
progs suffer from psychological projection. they accuse others of doing what they themselves are doing.
where is the epstein list? when it comes to any conservative being accused you have to believe the women, but when a prog is accused you discredit/dismiss the the victim.
was slick willie at any of jz’s parties? if so, when is he going to commit suicide in prison?

Jay Z is a Satanist. His wife Beyonce is the queen bee Satanist in Hollywood who’s only rivals are Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift, Anton LeVey’s grandaughter and maybe daughter. If this is news to you you need new sources. These people are wicked. But they’ve sold their souls, which is why they get ALL the magazine covers, movies and special treatment. Want some more names? Cher. Alyssa Milano. Kardashians. All the Trump haters. As for the men? Bono. Bruce Springsteen. Dwayne The Rock Johnson.

My question is, what the hell is a 13 year old doing at a party with booze and drugs? Where is mom and or dad in this?

I wish her good luck trying to get just one person to turn on the rest of the trash that was there and confirm her side of the story. You know they are all in bed together and will cover for each other. I bet dollars to donuts that the little girls days are numbered. No witness, no case.

Bigfootbob

I read that after the rape and coming down from being drugged, she left the party and called her dad to come pick her up. In my world if that would have been my daughter there would have been a need for body bags and good defense attorneys.

In my world, mommy and daddy would be having to take courses to get their kid back from Child Protective Services unless there was a track record of the child resisting and being a trouble maker for the parents. Then a stint in Juvi for the brat would be appropriate.

IMO, if that is not the case, then dad needs his ass kicked.

“You know they are all in bed together…” apparently in a very real sense. As a nation, we have elevated scum to entertainment’s high echelons. Listen to modern rap lyrics and try and convince yourself it’s wholesome entertainment.

years ago when wrap I call crap music came out, there was a song where he was crapping about his hoes and shoot whitey with my Gat. Of course that is just fine but if it was shoot darky with my colt then there would be a KKK problem. I hate the music, I hate the people that like it and I hate the stupid white boys that act black and think they are gangstas. Snoop Dog is no one to look up to but I guess he is cool because he was tied up with Martha Stewart. The dumbing… Read more »

Parents have been cowed by everyone that is making big money on minority group misbehavior.

Yes, morals are gone. I went to the drug store the other day, and when I signed in to get my place in the Que, it said that I needed to treat the druggist with respect and not be argumentative. There was a sign on the wall that said that argumentative or aggressive behavior would not be tolerated and if you did so you could be removed from the hospital. Todays people show little respect for others. No one says “thank you” anymore and if you go out of your way to help someone resolve a problem and they act… Read more »

Mr. Codrea, (et.al.) Since you mentioned Trayvon Martin…. if you haven’t seen it, I would like to pass along an independent film you can watch free on YouTube. It is a most jaw-dropping and hilarious ride thru the whole farce.
Its a hoot. I highly recommend seeing this one if you are ever going to speak of the whole Trayvon thing again. (hint: it has little to do with Zimmerman.)
