On 1 September, the Texas law removing the Texas prohibition on making, owning, and using silencers will be removed. The Texas AG will then have the task of challenging federal silencer law.
Maine has passed an incremental silencer/suppressor reform law. A separate permit to hunt with a suppressor is no longer needed in Maine.
