JACKSONVILLE, Florida --(Ammoland.com)- Safariland, a BAE Systems line of business, introduces the KleenBore CableKleen gun cleaning kit.

This innovative pull-through style system was developed in response to demand from law enforcement, military, hunters and competition shooters for a more effective, compact, pull-through gun cleaning kit that is also quick and easy to use.

CableKleen delivers on these demands with features such as an integrated multi-caliber patch holder, combination patch holder/brushes, and a triple-action gun cleaning brush.

CableKleen is the first and only pull-through cleaning kit that performs a complete cleaning with each pass. By combining the cable’s integrated patch holder with the KleenBore patch holder brush design, a solvent soaked patch can be pulled through the bore in front of the brush, followed by a wet or dry patch. This cleans much quicker and more efficiently than using patches and brushes individually.

With the CableKleen system, the integrated patch holder is permanently attached to the cleaning cable. This saves time and prevents the possibility of losing this critical part in the field. The unique design works with both large and small calibers without the need for proprietary or special gun cleaning patches. The patch holder is threaded to simultaneously use KleenBore patch holder bore brushes. These unique brushes have a loop at the end of the wire core allowing the use of either a dry or wet patch in combination with the brush.

All CableKleen kits come with a ½ oz bottle of BreakFree CLP cleaner and also include a utility gun brush with three different banks of bristles to clean bolts, bolt faces, rails, receivers, and other gun parts as necessary. Four different kits are available: Universal, Handgun, Rifle/Shotgun and Tactical/3 Gun Competition. The contents of each kit are neatly contained in a tan, zippered nylon molded case.

Rockcastle Shooting Center in Kentucky Hosts Successful 2011 Shooting Industry Masters Event

Park City, KY --(Ammoland.com)- July 29, 2011 Park Mammoth Resort and Rockcastle Shooting Center rolled out the welcome mat for a record breaking attendance at the Shooting Industry Masters.

375 registered shooters consisting of 82 teams, a 36% increase over last year’s attendance, gathered to relax and enjoy two days of shooting various courses of fire using handgun, rifle and shotgun.

An unprecedented number of 192 local volunteers provided visiting guests with local lore, transportation and hospitality. Boy Scouts, 4-H Clubs and the Bowling Green Junior Baseball team along with the assistance of university professionals, the local county tourism and chamber of commerce gave freely of their time.

Visiting industry executives and participants offered the following comments and observations:

Joe DeBergalis, NRA Board Member and Chairman of the NRA’s Education and Training Committee said “I was genuinely pleased to see such the tremendous turnout of industry participants. The Noble family has worked diligently to make Rockcastle Shooting Center into a facility that offers all sorts of surprises for the shooting enthusiast at all levels to enjoy.”

Tom Fuller, National Sales Manager for Military Division of Bushnell Products commented, “This was my first Shooting Industry Masters and I was thoroughly impressed how the industry came together to grow and further the sport.
