Michel finished above the 84 division competitors with a score of 1180.2341, or 100%, becoming the Area 1 Champion in the Open Division.

“The Area 1 Championship was the fourth Area match of the 2010 season. I have been fortunate enough to win all four thus far,” commented Michel. “The competition is hard enough these days but getting your equipment to work 100% of the time is even more difficult. Reliability is a key component to winning and SIG SAUER has built their brand on it.”

USPSA Area 1 is the region in the Northwest composed of Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and Alaska. Traditionally not one of the highest attended Area matches due to location, the match has been growing year after year featured many top competitors.

Michel’s next competition is the PRO-AM Championship at the US Shooting Academy in Tulsa, OK on July 16-18, 2010.
