As we warned a few days ago, HB 961, which bans “assault weapons”, larger-capacity magazines, suppressors, and more, is up for a committee vote on Friday.
Tell Bloomberg that you support the Second Amendment and you don’t want him or any of his paid-for cronies in the Virginia General Assembly to take away your rights.
The remaining “Assault Weapon ” ban bill, HB 961, will either be heard on Friday or it will be dead. We have to assume it will be heard and need a strong turnout to oppose this monstrosity.
Virginia Democrats, on the other hand, slinked by, heads down, only quick glances, and hurried into the tunnel. Not one Democrat came over. It was a long walk of shame, for them.
Not a single Democrat on the committee voted even once to support gun owners. Republican Delegates Ronnie Campbell and Amanda Batten stood with gun owners 100%.
